Hey all Sum of uz May red my other posts been having a few problems lately one thing then another got a list of parts I'm going to be ordering from mike at TD but back to the problem cars not been starting sumtimes just keeps ticking over with no entension to start then other days it will go no probs, few guys said check leads plugs fuel pump etc etc so I did but got to checking fuel pump and when I lifted the seat up seen the tape holding the wires down pulled it up and the actual casing for the fuel lines has been stuck on with sum black sticky sh*t tried just pulling it but the small lip

Ok cheers guys could that be what's causing it not to start sum times? Ordering a shed load of stuff for TD end of the month was told it was the fuel pump that was gone when it wasn't starting sumtimes, but I guess I've killed the battery tryin to turn it over to much because tonight I tried to start it and it half started as if it was going to start then just kept turning over with this new clunking noise Cheers guys

So the last few days car hasn't been starting sum times recently but other times it will start no problem but tonight I tried to start it and the battery ran low half turning over then every time it halted turned it made a clicking/clunking noise , not to sure if this could be a sign of starter motor or sum thing else unsure May just be because the battery's low didn't want to keep trying as the battery was nearly dead anyone any ideas what it could be? Funny you say that few weeks ago I gave her a good wash inside and looked under the spare wheel and it was wet the bung seemed ok there was oil mixed in about it aswel as the previous owner carried a spare can of oil in the boat and it must of been leaking, got it all moped up will need to check it again, see if it's dry can you buy replacement bungs for the boot and under the back seats? Was thinking of taking back seats out and giving them a good dry

Back seats are ever so slightly damp could this be what's causing it how would they become damp?

Noticed recently anytime I'm out in the car when people are in the car it steams up all the time need to keep the fans on constant to see where I'm going and out the side windows, anyone know what could be causing this? Cheers Dusty

Ok cheers all the same guys What about the coolant anyone got a link you can buy this online? Is thermo stat aux belt timing belt check cv joint and driveshafts anything else I should look at or replace just to be sure, is a braided oil feed a good upgrade/replacement?

Ok mate cheers can I order Toyota red premix coolant online, had a quick look last night but couldn't see anything?

Wow that's a fair jump guys lol 2.8 to 4 l? 2.8 rang a bell sure I've seen it sum where else thinking of it Engine oil -2.8L Gear box oil? Coolant? Just wantin to order enough for one service kno it won't be to the exact amount but as close to it can be Getting cam timing and aux belts changed also is the thermostat a good thing to change? Red sum where to a braided oil feed is a good replacement while she's off the road getting a bit o tlc Cheers Dusty

Hey recently got myself my first glanza v 96 love it , does need a bit of wurk done to it , exterior and suspension, got a hks fcon ecu cumin also a turbo timer and got a few other things planned, but before that wanting to give her a good full service get it threw the mot and do things as I go along, taking her off the road in jan to get her al running good, was just wondering how much engine oil, coolant and gear oil? Also is there any other small things I should replace whislt doin a service? Cheers Dusty

Ok guys I'm ordering a fuel pump and ignition upgrade kit from TD ,seen a post of people who can refurb injectors takin it off the road in jan anyway to do a good bit of work on it will keep uz updated tho guys Cheers Dusty

As title was out a run in the car y-day parked her up (she is low on fuel but not completly empty) went to start it this morning and she wouldn't go was turning over fine just not starting, bump start and she went but tried again few hours later and doin the same again, anyone know what could be the cause of this problem? Yeah ano says he was last active then but surely I would of received the wheel by now that's been 2 weeks, has he sent things out to u before mate? He told me he was in the west coast sligo? The guy I wurk with is from kilkeel he said that was about 2 hours from him

I'll try mate acc sounds like sumthings rattling behing the dash quite a weird noise don't notice it till u get onto a smooth bit of tarmac its not really loud just sumthing I noticed one day an is annoyin me as I can't see anything like this on here, ill try get one and get it uploaded

Hey all Got a 96 v and just reacently I've noticed there's like and echoing noise like the turbos not kickin in properly and laggin when driving along can hear it right up until the turbo kicks in don't know if I can't hear it cus of the turbo or not, like when I'm in 5th an stick the foot in it I can hear the echoing noise right until the turbos kicked in, I think the cv joint may be gone as it's started clicking going round right hand turns is the cv joint gone that bad it's causing it to make this noise when going along May not be the best discretion sorry guys it's hard to explain Any
