  1. Need a cambelt cover for this car, but can't find one anywhere, has anyone got any idea where I can get one? It just needs the top part. http://www.toyotagtturbo.com/dynamics/showentry.php?e=25075&catid=member&entryuserid=6707
  2. Full build here, more to come in the future I'm sure http://www.toyotagtturbo.com/dynamics/showentry.php?e=25075&catid=member&entryuserid=6707 Will post pictures later
  3. Just road use to be honest, got the guys at the garage to have a butchers at the link you sent, and I think well go for the 1.4 mm Apparently I wont get piston valve contact because its a non interference engine so the valve is fully out? Would explain why there is so much turbo lag though, thanks so much for all your help!
  4. He said to get the 1.9 one as that's what he used last time.
  5. The guy said to use this one? Just text him now, thoughts? http://www.tuningdevelopments.co.uk/product_info.php?cPath=502_520_589&products_id=308
  6. Ooh right, ill just get the 2mm one then, just to be on the safe side, thanks.
  7. Paying about £1000 for everything to be done so might as well splash out and get it done right haha
  8. £2770.29 just for a gasket seems a bit steep though haha.
  9. What would you advise? Thanks by the way
  10. Hello everyone, I need your help. I've recently brought a 300bhp Toyota Glanza V 5e-fte I think, link to the guys build is here: http://www.toyotagtturbo.com/dynamics/showentry.php?e=25075&catid=member&entryuserid=6707 The head Gasket has gone, but the garage which is fixing it can't find the right Gasket which obviously needs replacing. Please can you send me some links to the right Gaskets, I'm in a bit of a pickle at the moment, and the car needs to be back on the road asap. Thanks
  11. "Cleaned out gunk from the oil catcher" is the kindest way he could have put it, literally poured for about a minute water and white gunk. It was filled up to the brim with water which explains the steam and bubbling from the line into the oil catcher. (Catcher does have a breather on top of it which was steaming as well) I've owned a MG ZR so know full well what to expect cost wise with head gaskets. Had a test done to check the head gasket anyway and apparently it failed in seconds, the bloke told me his not seen something fail so quickly. Possibly means a cracked cylinder head as well if that's the case, time for a part engine rebuild I guess. The guy I brought it off of tied rag with cable ties around the oil in/out-let into the turbo, as well as not fitting a cam cover or air filter. Judders like crap from gear 1 which makes me think his either burnt out the clutch already, or hasn't aligned it properly into the gearbox? Car needs some work, but I've never loved driving a car so much so quickly, gonna be worth while, then I can take it down the Dyno and get a proper readout as well as getting a proper exhaust fitted instead of that awful side port.
