HMMM. i know, sorry mikey, just got fed up with it covering my eyes as i worked at school, hense trim! haha i stuck it out for almost 7 months though... so you know

a clean gen1 that! i like the lips on it!
-
oh yeh, forgot this too... me hard at work..
-
cheers guys have been speaking to a guy whos gonna give me a helping hand with the lips so its all go at the mo! well, yet again, as soon as i got home from school i set to work. took the bumper off, did a bit of tidying up, cleaning etc, and polished the lights to get the yellow gunk off of them, and then bolted them in properly and plugged them in again, heres a few process pics i lost the screw for the numberplate :S then i took the rear shelf out and done some re-covering also covered the bottom of the brake light surround, just to make it look 'non' shiney as it goes, and also made two little covers for the boot hinges out of card and the sub carpet, but its cheaper than finding a set i will get a pic of it fitted tomorrow when i get home

just saw this as a great sig to put a name in, just awesome lighting etc..

well, another day, another update. i found the spare bootlid from the garden, and took the bootlock off of it. seings as the previous owners (of the bootlid) badge fell off, it was just left with the lock, so he painted it and stuck a little badge on so... i smoothed it over with some filler and painted it again then stuck his little badge on again, so his little dragon lives on just a nice night shot for you all little dragon from far away lol this is the rubbish gear gator i made my boot filled with parts, carpet, tools and paints test fit of my side skirts, the other side needs alot of work and this side needs a bit of work and a respray test fit of my front lip, well, the half i have, i need to do either work myself to make the other side, or get someone to make a mould of the galliano's front lip
-
not the biggest update, but i fitted my new bootlock, well, when i say new, i bought it about a year ago, and it came with a bootlid, well i took it off today and fitted it to JWK

TODAYS WORK... i hired a helper but he was incapable of sitting still, untill he got wedged between the window and shelf. off came the stefio fascia, and same for the center console i made a small bit of card into a bit of plastic (well, actually its just a substitute) covered it with some subcarpet and put it in, its on a bit of a slant but i will re-line it at a later date all my hard work of putting it together was ruined... i made a substitute sterio din blanking plate also, of which also was made of card and sub carpet. i think it looks quite nice and its a bit of a money saver too and then i searched my shed and found a gear gaitor, but i hate the grey so i made yet another thing out of sub carpet but my sewing skills are crap so i might get my nan to tidy it up a bit i will get a day picture of that tomorrow JWK is getting there to say the least

cheers nangle, still needs alot of work and i need to source some interior bits, also the carpet if this one i am on the edge of buying is in crap cond, if not, il buy it lol
-
cheers, just bought a full carpet for £40 delivered to my door, not bad at all!! if i can get door handles im away with the fairies, but, do starlet din blanking plates fit in a paseo, the big black square that has toyota in the bottom right hand corner? anyhow, i spent 7 hours cleaning it up yesterday, incl taking seats out, interior panels out and pushing the dents out and taking the bumper off and cleaning behind that *AND BREATHE* but today..., i put it back together... rear panels in currently my boot release, if i put my finger through the hole, and press on the metal rod, the boot opens. to be truly honest i'd rather put my finger in other little red holes but im not the one to be fussy.. (LOL) rear seats sat in my kitchen for a hoover over. oh, and my helper for all of 5 minutes seats back in the remains of an in car screen that the previous owner took a hammer to.. :S dash board with the screen unit taken out passenger seat taken out to hoover all the tabbaco strands out of the little grooves, i cleaned the floor panels too seat back in, center console fitted again, and i placed the floor matts back on the red floor panel, just to make it look a bit tidier, although they need a damn good clean/brush down. sterio surround fitted in again, makes it look a bit better still need a gear stick leather looks tidier and i need them thingies too, need to find both sides went up in the loft and got the sunroof cover down, this was off of my old red paseo that i ripped to peaces well thats all i done for today, but i figured i need these following parts carpet (found) door handle (but might be buying some others) din blanking plate from under the sterio black plastic bar from under the ash tray and cigarette lighter. two plastic bits from the corners of the rear shelf gear stick leather front drivers side indicator unit rear bootlock swivel badge with one key big list isn't it...

yeh, still got cleaning to do but its pretty descent how it is... just want it better

i bought this Paseo ST last night, after the owner bought a new car, he started hating it and beating it... so i bought it off him for £100 and set to work this morning Taking delivery, it was finally on my drive Big Dent in the rear panel It was morning, so i got the tool box out, and started taking the interior apart This is the crack in the windscreen after some little $*"£wit threw a brick at it! Dirty JWK Seeings as the previous owner started stripping it for spares, its missing the door handle and bootlock.. so heres my anti-theft rag Big Scrape on the front By the time i had taken the seats out, and the rear panels, i done a bit of panel beating, and pushed the dents out, still needs more work that side, but the other side im happy with My Socket set skills... my seats came out! After a hose down, you can really see how dirty it was with a bucket and spounge, she looks better.. shiney Another Angle Of The Dent The Scrape I Then Took The Bumper Off To Do a Bit Of Cleaning Shes Misplaced Her Glasses Dont Worry, She Can See Now Then I Polished The Drivers Side Of The Car, Fading Has Dissapeared Sparkling Bumper And Lights Roughly Bolted On Because They Will Be Back Out Tomorrow Colour Difference between polished wing and un-polished bonnet Me In Reflection Un-polished passenger side (will be polished tomorrow) The Galliano's New Bed For The Moment More Updates Tomorrow

if im honest riko, i did buy it, and if im honest, it was considerably cheaper for a full car that 3 seats and 2 doorcards. £100 later it was sat on my drive and he was far less of a hassle for the car than you were with the parts. engines rather sweet actually, still feels, when being a passenger as it did the day i met rob and the car back in march. just putmy name down for a new carpet and a door handle
-
oh yeh, forgot to add this :- new member to the family welcome keep waiting and again this is killing you now well, it looks like this now, the owner fell out of love with it, but im gonna put the love back in and wont come with this (not that i want it) i feel alive again, i now own another red paseo ;)
-
see, dont know what riko is moaning about then haha
-
still there, well, for a few days, ive bought new ones, at the mo they are in the post, but i prefer it like this, plus theres no reflection what so ever in the rear veiw mirror of the little grilles on the back window, which mum likes... so its a safe mod at the moment if you look closely you can see the standard speakers and how they are really tall... and poke through the meterial
-
yeh its called a promise to give me the keys the day i pass my test haha
-
yeh most of the mods on it are by me, bar the front lip and head unit. i've spent just over £1000 of my own money on this car. aint stopping yet haha
-
couldnt afford to get rid really if you think about it, if it was sold we could only afford less... i mean, a paseos cheap, but you cant get much for that money (about £1500 + insurance and tax..) the paseo was best keep
-
recently bought some goodies, some still waiting to come through in the post (hopefully here this week) but i bought some sub carpet and got to work. re covered the paseo parcel shelf bit, still need to do a little more work on it but still looks good imo.
-
Riko, i really do think your pathetic. you know the score about modding my "mummies" car, so just f**king well give it a rest. if you dont want to go to this meet dont pick faults. it would most likely be better for weather too if you think about it, early months doo start to get better..
