I get the feeling we should do the normal square light for the GT, mainly because its easier to change it to your needs (paint some light and leave circles). Also would think they would do the SR version, then you just change what you want to be able to have it looking like your car. 96 and 98 spec.. a tricky one that.. Maybe we can be cheeky and ask for different style bumpers? Who knows, they might even make it so we can change body parts easily? I'd definately pay a bit extra and have just bumpers on their own and then modify them to look like the TOM`S, HRF and Doobie kits or something? W

Not posotive yet. I predict if we have enough numbers for say the scale 1:18 models, around £20 - £30 like any other model they make. If we have little numbers it may be to our expense and have to pay more, but the amount of names going up last night, i'm sure it wont be long to have many-a-name ready to roll

After some chatting in a wanted thread about toy Starlets, I have decided to take it upon myself to contact some diecast model manufacturers to see if we can have some model Starlets made up. I am currently in the process of contacting various model car manufacturers (such as Maisto, Cararama etc etc) to find out how many names we would need to make it worth their while. I contacted one before now asking if they would make a custom car specifically for me, but they would need to know theres want for so many before production is worth it. More detail will be added to this thread when I know m

From a recent chat in the wanted section, we need to get a group buy rolling. I will contact a few companies and see what kind of feedback we can get. They will need ALOT of numbers to be able to make them (production costs - it needs to be worth their while!) Sizes are to be confirmed. Cheapest thought would be 1:72 (pretty damn small) yet the detail wont be as good. 1:18 scale would be more detailed, with opening doors, detailed interior and engines etc.. Fingers crossed we can have them done in the 1:18 eh So pop your name down in the appropriate catagory and please specify a colour. Pl

Looking good buddy, better luck with this one than the N/A conversions you tried

Coming from poor knowledge, if you have done the research right I believe it could work. But then again, every build has its drawbacks. If its as easy as that then... well.. il buy a shed Paseo and take the engine...

Welcome, not far from me

Seems like you had an eventful night Welcome along, theres loads of good Starlets going now due to recession and the shiz.. So shouldn't take long to find one you want!
-
Liam.. was that when I was there too? If so then yes we did speak mate

Been doing alot of research - off and on - into the history of the Starlet and its predecessors. Look forward to some Bios

I thought they were relatively rare?

We all like bargains! Just we have to be careful when it comes to motors.. No doubt the odometer has been fiddled when it came over, most of them do. The fact its running steelies pretty much suggests the wheels were taken off before it was sent over - else it would have the standard trims too. Blitz Nur-spec, you have to be an enthusiast to know what that is, its not an off the shelf exhaust that the lady thought would look nice. Something fishy. If its as stunning as hes making out, then I would be selling it at over 3k, if not 4.

Welcome Buddy, were you at JAE?
-
I knew I saw them somewhere. I hope that helps
-
Its do-able, I believe you need to cut some of the back "flick" off of it, so it doesnt cover the door. If you want it to be looking like normal, you could always stick the removed bit, on the door.

Hey Lady, best of luck with the test

Nice one man... The specs of this car are going to be mad! Make the car all one colour though, with the green wheels though!
