1.45 you can see mine and George's glanza -
Thanks for all the comments and the link to the video lads sorry for the late reply I haven't been on here in ages!
So here's a quarterly update
Last month I took the car to Nurburgring for the week along with my r32.
Car was faultless on the drive up there and for the first 5 laps over 2 days. My fastest time on the Saturday was an 8.54 BTG with a passanger and being help up by a few slower cars after carousel.
On the Sunday morning I went out on what felt like my fastest lap of the trip. No hold ups at all and was really pushing my limits, kissing a lot of high rumble strips
Then just before showboats I had zero brake pedal, foot went straight to the floor. rear brakes had siezed up, all 4 pads disintegrated, fluid boiled, carriers bent. You get the idea haha. Luckily I had loads of room to corner wide so there was no issue there.
To get home I mini clamps both the rear lines, took the rear pads out (what was left) and drove home 500 miles using just the fronts. Looooovley.
Minus that car was faultless, very at home, and showed up a lot of bigger cars
Some pictures of the trip.
And I'll give the golf some credit as that handled unreal considering the weight. Haldex rocks.
Currently she's sitting at home after being detailed and serviced. awaiting new brakes, aero to be fitted and some new rubber, next outing will most likely be Trax
Update done

After a set of good condition rear brakes including carriers, no siezed pistons or rounded off bleed nipples. Thanks

That Evo did savagely let an injector go in the 11.40 session

Time for an update again,
So I got the car back late last week from LMS due to a few issues with wrong thickness polycarbonate getting sent out. In the end the car got done it time for japfest so no dramas.
Great day out at japfest, car performed faultlessly for 20 minutes of pretty much all wide open throttle. Water, oil temps and boost all stayed scarily perfect.
anyway, some pictures
And from today at japfest.

Can do mate, i cant promise ill get a chance to finish it though as I've less than 4 weeks left at work and i have to fit it in around their jobs.
Message me your address on FB asap then
-
I could make it but id need a starlet shifter 1st of all. I dont mind buying one then i can knock one up and see if it works.
From there i guess it would be a case of finding someone to make it on a more cost effective scale. I.e laser/water cutter for the major components then finishing up on a mill.
I have a spare one at home mate. I'll send it to you for free if I get dibs on the first one? Message me on faceflop

Boot lid and doors would be amazing lol but fuel flap and mirror covers is a good idea, maybe door handles?
And Glanza S bonnets would fly out!
I take back all of what I said,
Boot lid please! I'll pay the deposit now
Good shout joe!

All over this! Only thing the starlet market is screaming out for at the minute, please keep this updated.

I used to hit 120+ on track,
Now with a mishimoto 16row cooler and mocal 88c stat I never see over 90
Defo a must for hard driving, oil shouldn't struggle to get up to temp at all if you run a decent stat.

Fuckin hell shit then
Diabolical. Only reason I've kept mine is for the comfort.
They chew through tyres too due to the silly rear camber from the factory.
-
Lovely colour, what they like on fuel, heard they're pretty bad
70 quid gets me 300 miles
-
I have one mate. Go sideways okay with a welded diff, coilies, and 70psi in the rears
-
Will you still be based right next to the pumps this year?
-
See youve swapped back to a standard inlet, was the aftermarket inlet having an effect on the spool time?
It kept cracking mate, after the third time It came off I went back to stock
-
