  2. yer it pulls nice got loads more torque and got a nice 100hp corolla 4-2-1 exhaust manifold and inlet to fit also so should finish the change off nicely
  3. yes that was me although there wasn't really anything wrong as such just wined a bit on tick over couldn't hear it once moving I'm only wondering cas I have since put a 5efe engine and box in and i just wondered wich one would be better in my car, I'm not gona put the old one back in but there's another 1 with low milage in my yard and wondered if it's worth getting before it's scrapped to go in mine otherwise I won't bother thanks
  4. okay well what I really won't to know is are the paseo boxes the same I have both boxes and have seen and been told that they are different ratios according to wiki paseo is the c150 box and at dosent say wich one is the starlet box so ?
  5. okay so someone put me outa my misery what gearboxes do the uk spec ep91s have in them ? Thanks
  6. hi thanks for the info very handy did u get it to run? i have the inlet manifold an tb from the same car so i have the right sensors to go with it, could u give me a bit more info on what wires u joined together just im not quite sure witch ones u joined ?thanks
  7. Peace of piss I done mine in half a day on my own did have a fork lift tho which is rather handy 😉
  8. hi thanks for the reply and yes the plugs are the same it wont let me post a pic so here is a link to my fb https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=895836477104859&set=pcb.895836583771515&type=1 and i did plug it in today and it just start for like 1 second and cuts out ?
  9. i have searched and searched i have a starlet sr ep91 with 5efe engine on standard ecu i want to try and put this ecu in that i got when i was getting a 4-2-1 exhaust mani and intake manifold and tb i beleive same as turbo and yellow/brown injectors from a ee101 4efe corolla that had no imobiliser or from what i could see it didnt it was a k reg 92 any ideas if this will work or if i can make it work and what does the green label mean ? it is quite a bit bigger my starlet ecu is 2/3 the size of the corolla one. any help apriciated thanks
  10. brought a full set after market 35mm from euro car parts £115 sorted !
  11. right okay well im putting a 5efhe in from a sera witch i believe does not have acis manifold so i will be getting a corolla 1 do the acis manifold require any additional wiring ? thanks also what cars have the acis manifolds on?
  12. sorry if i have opened something that has been covered but after trawling the internet i cannot find anything so, i want to know what the best inlet is for the 4/5 n/a(naturally aspirated) e series engine is im guessing the acis is best but we all know how hard they are to find so, and everyone says that the corolla tubular one is the best but then i have also seen people saying 5efhe is best and the turbo inlet is best ? what i'm asking is i suppose is the corolla the 2 best or is the 5efhe (sera) one second best? 1st best being acis(Acoustic Control Induction System) manifold ? thanks
  13. okay well i got a lot to think about and a lot of spare time soon to as im loosing my license and so im doing a 5efe conversion i am thinking of fitting the hole lot as in engine and gear box in 1 go will this work ? is it better with paseo box or is it same as starlet ? and also wana fit the 5efe ecu im not gona reprogram i was just thinking of swoping the hole lot as in ecu chip reader and barrel any one done this ? as for the 5efe it has done 140k and burns oil so im gona rebuild it, i was just going to put a set of valve stem oil seals and rings in there but whilst im in there ar
