Angeled HKS Hi-Power on

i got full JPerformance system, but got a hks hi-power backbox i could put on lol

oh sorry 2.5 lol , getting carried away!! erm yeah i kinda got no clearence and made scalextrix marks on the floor when i went td04, downpipes are so long! and awesome, not sure which one i think its the HI-POWER, or something?

yeah can barely hear my exhaust now tbh, apparently this hks one is abit louder, ive got 3.5inch all the wya through till the backbox so not restrictive trbh lol

It makes no odds really id probably go for the hks for extra scene points tho

So i currently have a JPerformance 5 inch backbox on, but ive recently aqcuired a HKS 3-4 inch backbox, which would be better? thanks

well, once the manifold is rewelded i wont have any blows, all new engine mounts and bushes are done & maybe put my HKS backbox on (not sure about as its smaller but better quality) and also a nice spec clutch

im sure it will see over 230bhp, ill get it redyno'd then lol

Finally have a car that gets attention at meets lol, feels good

gave the whole car a wash with new parts etc on, got a tad carried away lol

so ive got round to putting some of the parts on that i picked up
bare front
old splitter on the new bumper
bumper on, new grille on, and new N/S light (ITS LITTERALLY CRYSTAL CLEAR!)

really dissapointed, tried to fit the optional 3 point strut brace, but it doesnt fit or line up!! but today after work, i gave the new bumpers a t cut after a few hundrer oily hand prints lol.





rear bumper came with mudflaps, think they are homemade, also have some neat little metal brackets. and tbh i quite like them so im keeping for now:)

Made a 500 mile round trip to Tuning Developments yesterday, Mike and Nick done an awesome job, couldnt of asked for more from them!!

i was expecting around 200bhp @ fly ... but tbh i would of been happy if the car worked afterwards so my hopes wernt high lol,

Whilst there i picked up front and rear bumper, N/S mirror as mine is cracked and bent, bumper support bar (my car looks like its having a stroke from the front), Optional 3 point strut, and a N/S headlight as mine is murky inside the lense etc

so hope to get them on at the weekend:)

Went for mapping yesterday cant thank mike enough, couldnt ask for anything more and my car made 229.1bhp !

i went to manchester mapping yesterday (i dont have a clue on areas so dont know if this is near there), was it a mk1?

Had to modify the exhaust to fit td04 where the ct9 manifold didnt come out enough

Car is currently unusable however, i went to drive it out of the garden and down the alleyway, all of a sudden the car started jumping up and down lol turns out the exhaust was made at the wrong angle and pointed too far down and just sits on the floor, so will have to fix that tomorrrow.

there is also a blow from where the td04 flange was welded on but ill have to buy a new mani next month so thats okay , cannot wait to get this mapped and enjoy semi big power!

so ive not updated in a while, and fair to say ive got a suprise

got my depo boost controller in, will be only functioning as a guage till mapping as im missing a banjo bolt so left the valve disconnected.

so heres the plan... TD04

Old turbo coming out done me well! still mint.

Nicked the flange of a crappy td04 mani, to weld onto my WEPR externally gated one HAD to keep the screamer! love it

SH*T dont go N/A!

Old tubby off

New flange welded on and mated up (brothers welding didnt go to plan so will have to get new mani after mapping lol )

Heatwrapped screamer whilst its off, so it doesnt melt through my rad hose again lol


TADAAA new tubby sat in its rightful place


got to connect everything up and modify the exhaust slightly as the ct9 mani doesnt branch out far enough for a td04 and the exhaust doesnt connect right but not to worry for now more updates later on!
