  2. This build thread is still ongoing.

At the moment the cars at race tech for the engine build,.

should be on the road in late january early febuary and i will get some pictures of the engine bay and exaust work.

its going to be running td04 hybrid stage 2 with race tech manifold, full exaust system, APEXI Power Fc ecu, APEXI boost controller, AEM wideband. Also it will have Uprated cruise valve springs and most of the common engine modifications that go with a forged build aswell as a new comp clutch to go with the Lsd gearbox that was fitted before it was sent there.

    Keep you posted.

  3. In needs of a loom, I am looking for the connection block that goes into the ecu as mine has started to become loose, doesn't have to be full loom as long as the wires are strong and anout 5 inches long It will do

  4. So i decided while collecting the engine parts i would have the car resprayed due to the paintwork not being in the best condition as well as fitting the side skirts and rear lip which would need painting anyway here are some pics of the whole shabang.

Have a front lip on the way but due to the one which turnt up the day before being broken had to be sent back, so will add that on when new one is sprayed.

have ordered a new tial wastegate due to the wastegate on at the moment being an unbranded one, and now waiting for the bigspend on a new Standalone ECU, Engine build and all the things that come with that.

Quaiffe LSD box being fitted next week with new front wheel bearings and CV joints, and a RARB to be fitted at some point.

  5. Not sure tbh haven't had it mapped, was already td04 when i bought it but was in a right mess engine bay wise, I'm getting it resprayed as it doesn't have the best paint work being 20 years old so will be getting a fresh lick of paint, just had all the stuff to forge it turn up now just to save for the build, has nearly every handling mod you can do to it and a full cage all just got some yoko prada tyres its still a running project and will be done hopefully by next year fully forged body kit rear boot lid mods running a billet td04 or Gt28 going for hopefully 320-350bhp

  6. Cheers Dave, still have a long way to go but thats how it is lol Have a Quaife Lsd and gearbox on its way, have polybushed mounts for the engine and gearbox etc to be fitted, then for the big spend the engine build which will happen probably in the winter sometime :)

Finally got there wasn't such a bad job only took a few hours, used all silicone sealants on the underside plates as well as Locktite on the thread to stop them coming loose through vibration etc, Also gave the inside a spray over to tidy it up but ran out of paint so will continue that part at a later date.

Also decided to get some of the wheel nuts on while we was at it.
