Yeah, Alot of her very close friends have said to her,''its as if you two are a couple, so why dont you just try it'' to which she apparently considered, but just didnt see me like that.

Also i wouldnt want to put her in a situation that makes her unhappy, ie by suggesting we try a relationship.

all the signs point to the fact that i love her!. Probably our closness has given me false hope in a way. I get on better with her, and tell her more stuff than any girl ive actually been in a relationship with!!!

Im not sure if i can bring myself to not talk to her..we get on so well, and ive never met somone else ive had so much in common with. We even think the same things!

Ive never posted up somthing like this, but it has got to me so much i dont know what to do. And you lot seem to be pretty laid back so thought id ask your opinions! and its always nice to get it off your chest....prepare for lots of reading.

Pretty much i met this girl around 4 months ago, straight away we were friends, and slowly since then we have got closer and closer, so much so we would see each other every day and not go 12 hours without talking to each other!.

Me being a fool, and her being so amazingly stunning,and a great person, i fell totally head over heels for her.

It got to the point (about 2 months in) that i told her that i was into her. She said that at some time she had feelings for me, but not anymore.

Right i thought, ill get over her. But we carried on talking/seeing each other every day, and i found myself growing to like her even more!!,

Its now at the point where she says that i am the closest person to her, she trusts me more than her closest of friends and can tell me anything, We are so amazingly close that everyone says we act like a couple that has been together for years.

She has moved to university and not an hour goes by when i dont think about her, we still talk everyday and i have arranged to go up there next week to spend some time with her.

She told me she was going on a date with this guy, and she knew id be upset about it, which i was. We talked for over 5 hours..yeah 5 about everything..we considered the option to not talk to each other for a while to see if that helped me get over her, but she said, 'we make each other so happy, so why take that away??'' which i agreed with....She still doesnt have feelings for me by the way.

My point FINALLY!, is this.. What do i do?.. I have totally fallen for this girl, to the point that id do anything for her,and put her feelings before my own.

Some people say to totally bail out and walk the other way, but is that really right?

Again sorry for the nature of this post!, is the first time ive written anything like it!

This is true, But i wont have to pay for insurance as my dad is going to put me on his company insurance!.

I know the glanza is special, and it will take somthing special to replace her!.Just checked insurance and its up for renewal in June. so ive got it for another 8 or so months!

I have now decided to keep her until the insurance is up for renewal which is in the spring. It is a STUNNING car and puts a smile on my face every time i drive it. Its just i could spend mega money on her now, or wait and come renewal move up to an MR2/S14/R33!

As said these manifolds will crack. it is only a matter of time. Go ahead and buy, but you will have to replace it fairly soon. Taking a dremel to the standard one is fine, but cast iron expands by around 30% when warm, so this will crack aswell.some people say mild steel is the way forward, again not really as this moves when hot.

you want to save up for a manifold that is made from either SUS 321 or 316, that has been made well, and welded properly. another option is aircraft grade 304, which is expensive but also does the job well.

Im not going to sell yet dont worry. the idea is, that i will buy my new car this winter, and mod it to spec over the winter, sell the glanza in spring and roll out the new beast.

Reason im asking, is so i know how much extra cash i need to raise for the new car!

A manifold is definatly a high priority. i have ported my standard one a bit, but still running about standard boost as i dont want to cause any damage to the engine.

You might have already chosen a manifold but o well ill say it anyway!.. You pay for what you get at the end of the day, so the autobahn, japspeed (any manifold made from 304) will be no use, and will crack. Again mild steel isnt the best answer either, but does work alot better than 304.

I also have a JAM bcc, but i dont have an aftermarket manifold, i cant remember wether you do or not.

I cant remember wether you told me you had a FMIC or not. if you dont you could also benifit from one of these.

Without the manifold and fuel pressure regulator you can do serious damage to your engine.

I was of the understanding that his was a hybrid running a gt25 inlet and gt30 exhaust side, and that dispite the numbers it would be less laggy than his gt2530.

I may be totally wrong here though, and i was only going on what i have been told about reading compressor maps. i will be running a forged engine so will be able to run the turbo to its full potential. this is the one im looking at, shows the size etc.

Im looking at building a forged engine running a GT2554r. I have been looking at the compressor map for the turbo http://i231.photobucket.com/albums/e...xx10/gt25r.jpg

and it looks like ideally looking at making around 170bhp at 0.8 Bar. I know you cant really predict lag from looking at compressor maps, but maybe some of the Malta boys might be able to tell me if it would be laggy or not?

And what kind of boost could i run on one of these tubbys

glanza_cl. They are very good, the guys there know there stuff. it really depends on what you need doing though. if you need mechanical work doing then i would imagine they would be expensive. give me a shout if its mechanical. or for mapping etc, give them a shout!

I thought i should update here for you all!

A mixture of Good and the Bad.

Ill start with the bad.

Outer cv joint needs replacing

hit a big manhole cover in the road and now sideskirt needs £160 repair

seems to be drinking oil

pushing coolant into the overflow.

Now the good.

Its drinking the oil due to lack of crankcase pressure, i dont have a breather filter on there atm. and pushing coolant..well its not headgasket which is good, and only pushes a little bit out.

I went to Perfect Touch in Hoddesdon for a health check, and the AFR's were ok and i made 168.8 bhp at the fly and 126.8 ftlb of torque. That was at 0.8 bar Which for the near standardness i was rather happy.

Also got some foglights and put them in, and now has blue intercooler piping at the front.

Wheels are going in for a refurb soon.

Im thinking of buying an engine with piston/ring damage and building it up to a forged beast running a gt25r.
