  1. Interesting to see people's thoughts on them to be honest , i guess everyone has different experience's with them because from the people i know they only have good things to say about them making very good power and keeping reliability , on a track it might be a bit different i agree !

  2. Yeah I know a few the z20let boys who have ran chinkys a lad I know has mapped a few with good success your best going externally gated though the actuators are weak.

If I was gonna go gt28 it would be a chinky turbo for sure.

Out of curiosity who you know who runs a let? I used to mod on AOC awhile back before z20let lovers killed it

Theres a few big powered z20lets down my way , rix 465bhp , ell 460bhp sam barret but think there running garrets

  3. Just wondering what people's thoughts are on them ?

Couple of mate running z20lets running 400bhp + use them with no problems

They come with year's guaranty and are about £200 !

I've only heard good things about them recently and how much they've improved for the price they are

Not saying i'm going get one tho :p

  4. Looks good buddy, i picked a 1ao up at the start of the year with the whole front suspension, drive shafts, wings mangled, slow progress getting it back together! Just need a respray now, this has gave me some more motivation :)

Thanks mate , this was a right state when i got it and was a local car that had owners who drove it for what is was to be honest ! when i saw it i knew it was going to need alot of tlc !

  5. Never done a progress thread on mine so just a quick summery

When i bought it had to wholes in the block and neglected badly and to be honest was a complete an utter dog ( still is in my eye's ) :p but it cames along way from then and lot of ££££

    When i got it

    How it looks now

So yeh it needs coilovers badly but imo looks a whole lot better then it did from when i first got it

    + needs bigger tyres !

  6. As above i also took out of the bottom and pulled it out on the jack with the front end up in the air, from the top you'll have to take it out at and angle to get the gearbox past the battery tray like you said , just takes a bit of perseverance , if you had a smaller garage would it not be easier to take of bottom because time you jack engine hoist up it's got to go pretty high !

  7. My mate paid for a turbo only on Tuesday just on Facebook no contact since payment he msg him few times but no reply . anyone know him can ask what's the story ? Just he needs the turbo ASAP thanks in advance .. If any2 is friends with him just ask to reply or find out wats goin on
