  3. Ct12....

I run the same manifold and ewg does the bottom rad hose on the civic rad not fit with the screamer? Nice to see a different set up been done!

Thanks mate! Na the bottom hose was pretty much resting on the screamer initially. I ran it for a few days with the hose wrapped in exhaust heat wrap but I didn't want to leave it like that long term incase the pipe burnt through. Clears the screamer perfectly now

I've not seen any other glanza's running a CT12 yet, everyone seems to go td04/td05 these days

  4. As above, I am looking to purchase a new HKS SSQV for my Glanza. My problem is that I've been reading a lot about fake ones in circulation and wanted to make sure I get a genuine one

Also is there a specific kit or adaptor that I would also need to buy as I can not see a application listing for the Glanza

    Thanks in advance

  5. I made the trip down to Tuning Developments after reading loads of feedback on the forums. As there was such a long journey down, I decided to book into a local premier inn so that I could arrive at the door bright and early and without any last minute dramas

Mike greeted me on my arrival and quickly got to work on my Glanza

Myself and my girlfriend made ourselves comfy and watched some TV while the work was being carried out

A few hours later I heard the car being live mapped on the dyno... Being the big kid that I am, I had to go and watch... From the safety of the metal barrier at the workshop door of course

  6. Been a while since I updated this thread. Quite a bit has changed since the last update

Purchased a Greddy Profec boost controller so that I could safely control the boost for and after the mapping

Also purchased some new blue silicone hoses to fit to the new radiator

    2015-03-24%2018.57.20_zpsyjhsqimw.jpg

Radiator was a complete sod! Fitted perfectly apart from the bottom radiator hose fouling against the screamer pipe :unknw:

Decided to take the radiator back out and send it to a local welder to have the bottom outlet cut and moved over approx 4" to allow clearance of the screamer. Got the radiator back less that 48 hours before my 4 hour journey down to Tuning Developments for my E-manage mapping session

Thankfully the radiator was perfect. Re-fitted, filled and bled before taking the car for a short run to double check for any leaks. All was good

  7. Thought I'd best leave some feedback for my recent visit to Tuning Developments last month. Around a 4 hour drive from where I stay so I booked into the premier inn just along the road

I arrived bright and early to have my e-manage blue fitted and mapped. I was greeted by Mike, who I had spoken to several times before my trip. Gem of a bloke who couldn't have been more helpful

After the dyno session I was presented with my printout with an impressive 224bhp @ 1bar from my CT12 turbo & and the car now drives superb! Pulls very strong in every gear even with the boost controller set to low

Thanks very much guys! Look forward to dealing with you again very soon

  8. Although just reread his message and....I don't agree with the final statement

    http://www.ukstarletowners.com/topic/91758-hks-actuator-with-standard-lowhigh-buton/?hl=solenoid#entry1096056

Brags about hitting fuel cut? Sorry but I was under the impression Fuel cut was deadly for an engine?

I wasn't actually bragging about hitting fuel cut. I was purely stating that with my setup, my car would hit fuel cut when I ran it on the high setting. At the time of running that setup I was exploring options to try and reduce fuel cut. Even before I set mine up to my description, I was getting boost creep and hitting fuel cut regularly due to my FMIC & air filter relocation, even with the HKS actuator wound back to stock psi setting. Personally I found that having the hi/low option reduced this drastically

all hes done is allow his car to hit fuel cut so its pointless, remove it all and just set the actuator under 0.8bar and enjoy the extra few ponies

Not true. As I said above, I was exploring routes to reduce fuel cut, and it did help

  9. Fair enough but boost creep can still be a pretty nasty thing. Every so often wont cause too much issues but my thoughts on it are that if the car was supposed to boost to those levels, it would have done from the factory. Eventually something is gonna give and it'll more than likely cost you a lot more than an external wastgate :p
