I did a 10month then a 12month policy. Which hasn't caused me problems as yet as you can argue with any insurance company. As long as you have it on paper that you have 2 years NCB you should be okay. The only problem i have is i need to insure my Glanza for 2 months to cover the gap between the end of my 12month policy and my 19th birthday.

Think this one will be same as others . Loads of hype people get excited to watch it then get let down. The techinical bits make me laugh the same way they did on the others/

Well little photo update one of mine & my boyfriends Glanza's - Going to have a good clean and wax today and get my new carbon eyebrows on so will whack a few more pictures up later. The list of bits i want is growing - first thing is some proxe t1r's all round and some nice shiney grooved and dimpled 3g discs with green stuff pads.

I think the website looks wicked! Prices look tastier too. Everything looks brilliant, some nice new bits on there too. All good!!

Can you make me one please? My post is a couple below

Mine was making that sound - it was when my dumpvalve was seized and it ran like a sack of shit.
-
haven't had ny experience of the black ones - you'll get the equivalent possibly cheaper from your local auto factors. They are just a replacement for standard. I can sing the praises of the green stuff pads though! V.good

I think its a really good idea to get a basic template so there can be no messing around and again with displaying pictures of the actual item, it is without a doubt a step in the right direction.
I again have had problems with buyers on numerous occasions. People that have asked about parts arranged to come and collect - in some cases i have given my postcode to these people as i thought i could trust them - then they have never turned up, not responded to emails nor bothered to call me and apologise. Others have not read an advert properly and i have gone to the time of messing about getting postage costs etc then they have decided they don't want them.
This website has been an incredible help to me and i appreciate all the advice and guidance you can be given. It's a shame a small minority have to let the community down by being dishonest and plain rude. It's simple if you can't afford an item or don't really want it don't waste peoples time, it just puts people off selling items and one day you might need an item someone has...

@ Love . . . do you think you could have a pop at a sig for me please?!

I haven't ever been followed *touch wood* by anything other than the Police. I wouldn't have got out for anyone though, same as someone else said the Pikeys round here ain't the kind you mess about with! Fairplay for standing your ground though mate!

I think wherever you go you have to be careful. I bought privately and although i got it for a reasonable price, it's had problems that the seller quite clearly knew about. He gave me a total load of shite sob story. I've been lucky i had enough money to sort the problems, well just! It's bad though that you can't trust anyone selling a car. I worked for a Toyota dealership for a bit in Sales and they just teach you to lie constantly. It's mad!

Hi, And My First Question
in Welcome New Owners!

Hey, I have same advice as others. I did a lot of reasearch into importing here's a rough example of cost. This is based on importing a car thats costs 500,000yen or £2500. This is only a rough guide that i worked out it just gives you an example.
£2500 - Car Price
£700 - Shipping
£320 - Import Duty
£616 - VAT of above 3
£200 - Shipping Agent
£50 - Customs
£38 - Registration
£300 - SVA preparation - i doubt you would need this much but better to be safe!
£180 - SVA Test
£30 - UK Plates - again prob less
£40 - MOT
£120 - Years Tax

So basically the import costs are as much as the car. Hope that helps!
