Checked the diagnostics and found it to be a dodgy map sensor, quick clean and it was sorted! Annoying how such a small thing made the car run absolutely terribly 😂 Oh well sorted now, cheers for the help guys!

I was thinking that but that wouldn't cause no boost would it? It's almost like it's hitting a rev limiter and backfiring at 4K rpm when it shout be on boost.

I think this may be more serious than I expected. Engine light is back on and the revs drop after any gas and nearly stalls. It's also hunting on idle and not boosting at all?

This has been winding me up for a year now. I've got a 96 spec ignition barrel on a 98 spec rack. Everything else on the car is 98 spec. I can't get the steering wheel surround to fit with the ignition barel. Do I need a 96 spec surround? And will that bolt up and line up with everything else? Cheers.

Item For Sale: Brand new jperformance front mount core, bought from tuning developments but I already had a core so this is unneeded. Only unboxed for the pictures. I'll say £120 and if I'm way off someone can let me know. Race spec rocker cover with fitting (AN8) and braided lines (no catch can) £80 Stock ct9 manifold with zisco decat, comes with oil and water lines. The turbo ran fine when I used it but it's been sat for a month so couldn't guarantee no smoke. (No shaft play on the turbo though). Looking for £100

It seems to have sorted itself now. I'm thinking it may be a poor current so just got rid of any corrosion I could see on the terminals and earths.

I think the DDG box in the A1 means they're pretty quick through the gears. Wouldn't mind having a go in one myself.

It's not that obvious Haha, sure they usually put boost pressure with AFR's so looks a little strange

The top is bhp at the wheels and fly the bottom printout is boost pressure and bhp at the fly again

So the handbreak light is still on, I've found that the handbreak cable isn't actually plugged in. Can anyone help me out with finding where it's suppose to be plugged in? Cheers

Hi, I've just got my car back and it's taking longer to fire up. It's also fairly often just cutting out as soon as it turns on the revs just drop and it shuts down. I've got an engine management light on to. I've not driven it since all this but it sounds fine. Could anyone point me into the right direction to sort it? Cheers

And even those younger don't all insure them illegally and rag them around. Strange when car people themselves give other car people bad names.
