  2. Coilovers fitted, I've not gone that low and they're catching on the front arch lining a lot 😂 It's not that low I think it's just because the linings are ruined, tempted to just rip them out?

  4. -2 good for a fast road setup. Don't want to chew through tyres 😂 How about caster? Yeah looking at putting money into breaks and more suspension mods this year
  5. Also if anyone has any advice on geometry set ups could you let me know, don't know a massive amount on alignment setups, dampening and tyre pressure so any help appreciated! Currently just got BC's and that's all really, no panhard rod or anything yet
  6. Ah fair enough! Yeah I've seen other people's results, idrees proved that you just don't need a TD04 on stock internals haha! I think it makes pretty good power considering I'm running less boost than everyone else haha. You'll have to let me know what yours makes
  7. Price wise it's the same as the TD04 all the same mods need to be done just with a different turbo. Don't think it's much more for the topmount, worth it though!
  8. I could have gone for a bottom mount turbo kit to further reduce lag but top mount setups look the best haha! That's the way to do it mate, mines still got the interior it's just false floored instead of the rear seats. Send me over a PM mate, sure we could get something organised
  9. That's the thing, if your not planning on going forged anytime soon the TF is perfect, then swap it for a bigger TD series turbo when going forged! I was at japfest this year, always seems to be in the middle of my exams 😂 I'm in Lincolnshire mate! Yeah it'd be nice to get a little starlet meet set up. Yours looks super clean mate 👌
  10. Lowering springs put more stress on the shocks so if they're on there way out the extra stress will kill them off
  11. To be honest I'd planned on going for the miesters but they were out of stock for a few months so went for the BC's. Hopefully the car will be more of a toy in 2/3 years so the BC's being slightly stiffer may come in useful! I can't recommend the TF enough to be honest. All the TD04 boys might get on my back but I think it's the best suited turbo for stock internals. It'll push to 230bhp at 1bar I'd expect so on the edge of the stock engine potential with less lag than the TD04

  13. Ah that's fair then buddy! I've gone for the 5kg front and 4kg rears, same Spring rate as miesters. £700 all in, ordered mine from ID-works but tuning developments sell them too.
  14. If you want to go as cheap as possible go for some lowering springs mate
  15. Tell the passengers they can walk if it's a bit bumpy 😂 I've gone with slightly softer springs and I'll probably run them fairly soft as its my daily again. I'll let you know what I think to them qhen they're on and all set up 😊

  17. Think it must be the wiring in the EMB and I don't really know what I'm looking at with it. The throttle body sensor has been suggested to be at fault, is it worth getting a new one of them to try Before I get it trailered to tuning developments 🙄
  18. Scrap that last post it's not sorted! I've since changed the MAP sensor with no luck so I'm not sure what else I can do really

  20. The plastic that goes around the indicators and ignition barrel. I guess you could class is as column surround. I need the 96spec one (4 spoke). Cheers
