not much of an update really
sold my n/a last week, got a few pics of them both before it went
decided to freshen the strut brace, turned out really well, just needs a polish now
before:
after:
have also picked up a trd anti roll bar
selling the n/a freed up some cash so there have been parcels arriving down home for the past few days so it'll be like Christmas when i'm home at the weekend
also getting a new gearbox fitted tomorro as mine has a slight crunch in 3rd, hoping its ok as the fella i bought it of had never actually fitted it to his but said he was told it was 100% when he bought it
hopefully more updates soon!

nice colour, would look nice as a glanza
yeh i considered that myself! i actually have sold it now, and am trying to get the paint code for the new owner as i think he's going to turn it into a glanza
-
nice! who cares about the idle, it just lets you know theres a beast in there!
-
anyone know the paintcode for this? is it 8K0 or 8L2?
-
They look awesome! Bit more than I want to spend, but I'll think about it between now and payday lol
-
How much?
I have those sparco's aswel but I just don't like them :/ and there a nightmare to clean lol
-
Not sure what way the glanza handbrake is haven't looked at mine yet, but on the na you can adjust each side inside the drum, I was having one wheel sticking and loosened the handbrake of a touch and it cured it
-
Lovely! I'm thinking mine needs a front lip spoiler now!
-
Where are you located? Pic and price for bucket seats?
-

Anyone bought these? I'm in need of a set as my dials are awful and miles out!
Can the proper plasma dials not be got anymore?
-
Good work! Have similar plans for mine hopefully if the money allows lol.
What is the ac removal belt? Is it just the same as the pas belt on an NA?

Yeh bodywork is excellent! There's a few wee bits that need sorted with the rest, interior lets it down a bit atm. Funny I'm not a fan of that nardi wheel at all! Useful to know about the exhaust tho, thanks!
-
Thanks all.
Yeh I just picked this up on Thursday there, not fussed on the wheels so might see about changing them at some point or else go a different colour.
Yeh the exhaust it pretty big looking, it's actually a tip that looks like it's been spot welded to the original tip, looks like it was ment to be that way!

Finally got myself a Glanza
engine wise its standard apart from a blitz dump valve and some sort of exhaust that ill have to get a closer look at
body work is in very good condition, i would think it has probably been resprayed at some time.
anyway, gave it a good wash when i got it home so here are some pics:

Where abouts are you located?

Haha Phil tracking me on both forums don't worry mate I will be in a ep soon, I've seen this one advertised but it's had 3 owners in space of a month and half ??
The ad disappeared in a day the 1st time, then reappeared the next day at a fair bit more, my guess is someone thought they could make a few £ on it. Looks decent and well spec'd tho
-
Saw this for sale! Your pics do the car far more justice than the ones in the ad! Looks very clean
-
Did someone not say that when it went bang on track it was smoking real bad? Maybe the turbo went and it was getting oil through the intake?
-
Check with your insurance as they usually offer breakdown cover, mine is £5 or £6 a month extra and they'll lift me anywhere in the UK and bring me anywhere in the UK, also they cover any expense that you have if you were stranded and had to stay overnight somewhere etc.
-
Did I see you today heading out the Malone road? About 4pm ish
-
Don't cut the springs! It will handle terribly and wreck your shocks and top mounts! My top mounts lasted a week with cut springs! I'll never cut another set lol
-
A wee squirt of wd40 into the locks as soon as the cold weather starts, displaces the water and stops them freezing/seizing up, had this problem with my 306 and that cured it
-
cheap at that! seen an original SR local to me with 98k miles advertised at £2150!
-
I'm in the same boat with my mirrors, have a glanza loom lying there but don't know where to start! Be interested to see how you get on
