Hey there, thought I'd post up a few pic's, and a bit of a description about my second time in starlet ownership....
So after selling my Bugeye Scooby (19 mpg was a killer) I found I missed my old Starlet, and I only broke that for spares, because I brought a knackered forged engine from a member of the forum a few years back (but I won't be bringing that up again).
So I got it the day before Trax 2013, and it was very close to standard apart from some unknown wheels, and a cat back RS*R Exhaust system that I actually love the look of, so it was staying. I gave the car a good clean and stuck it on the Fresh Additions stand.
When I first got it...
A few weeks later ... I still had parts left over from my old Starlet, like coilovers, EBC discs & pads all round, also painted the wheels, but UPS brown wasn't the best choice, and they didn't stay that colour for long.
Decided the brown was too much, so went to gun metal, also fitted a front mount intercooler, and used tinting film on the front fogs
So a bit after that I started to miss the power of my old starlet which had a TD04 on, so the next obvious step was to build up a kit again. I only used the cheap mild steel manifold from toyosport as it did my well on my last car, so I went the same route.
I've been running this set up for a little bit now with the cruder RRFPR and FCD set up which I always disliked, so I have just Bought a P&P Blitz Access Ecu from a memeber of the forum which I will be fitting along side an uprated fuel pump as soon as I can.
So as it stands now (Anyone notice the JDM Parking pole, major scene points lol)
Over the winter I will be making some more changes to it, so watch this space people

Hey guy's hope all's good in the world of Starlets
I have actually been a member since 2007 on here, but I spent more time researching older threads, and that was when I owned my old mk1 Starbo (R.I.P). Now on my 3rd starlet as I did have another I used as a donor car, but this one is staying after a brief moment of Subaru ownership, and deciding the Starlet was more fun.
I'm definitely gutted I didn't go to JAE this year, and as always the UKSO club stand looked great, so 100% next year. Anyway I will put a build thread up soon. here's my old and current EP's

Progressing well mate, will keep an eye out for it round my way.

Gonna try getting the most out of the N/A then?
I went through a few Head gaskets on my old Starbo.
I think I had a build thread for my old car, but I shall get on making one for my other shed I think.

Yeah I spotted you as I left now I think back.
What sort of plans you got for it then?
-

Been a Mechanic for about 7 years, I hate working on other peoples cars, I just like working on my own as I don't have anyone on my back moaning at me lol
Peugeot, citroen, renualt, fiat, are all sh1te lol
Pay could be better, but I'm going on for my MOT licence next year.
-
why??

Thanks mate, can't wait to fit my clutch next and use the full 1 bar of boost, instead of it just slipping lol
Still need to fit the panhard rod aswell
-
This weekend I got round to painting my front grill, fitting my D2's and fit a smaller number plate, I think I could lower the back I bit more, but I aint messing about with it again till next weekend.
Needs tracking big time though as it's pulling to the left really bad.
-
Small update
I got my D2's and TRD clutch this week, so I will be fitting the coilovers at the weekend along with my RS*R panhard rod that I've had sitting around for months.
God knows how I'm gonna get the ride or camber set up correctly lol.

I payed £1600 for my 1992 GT back in march with 80k miles.
It came with...
Unknown 14" alloys
Jam Acutator
Delimited and converted to MPH
Jam BCC
Green stuff front pads
Oirlins shockers
K&N panel filter
CMR boost gauge
But the car had no MOT when I got it hence the price, but when I had it tested they only advised on a nail in the tyre.

GT4 ST205 maybe ;)

Safe and sound in Oxford
Lovely car mate.
My mate is over the moon with it, and he will look after it.

well I saw you again Today by the Headington Roundabout, near McDonald's...other day I saw you parked on the otherside of the roundabout, and another day I drove past you on Iffley Road/Rosehill by Papa Johns! ...I'm not stalking you, I swear!
Well I work at the garage on the sliproad that goes on the the bypass, so you would see my car parked there everyday anyway. there will be another ep82 parked there from tuesday.

Lovin it mate, deffo keep the pin stripe
-
my old wheels look nice
And I keep seeing your car around Nice car chap
Are you in oxford at the moment then mate? where do you keep seing my car
Yeah I do really like the wheels, being 7j wide means that one side will rub atm with standard suspension and people in the car, but I think coilovers and my adjustable panhard rod should sort it.
-
Is that near felixstowe? because thats where I got it from.

Here is my 1992 Starlet GT when I picked it up in april 07.
Pretty standard apart from a Jam BCC and Jam Actuator set to 0.8 bar.
Then I brought a new steering wheel for it as the standard on was worn.
After buying and fitting a stainless steel, it was thrown in the bin 48 hours later due to it developing a hole in it.
I must have had a mental brakedown when I brought these wheels, but they only stayed for two weeks before being sold on lol
At this point I had a Jam Racing Ecu fitted with a Blitz cast decat, sard dump valve and HKS Actuator set to 1 bar, so I need to do something about the resriction in the manifold.
I just managed to find a ported one on ebay that has worked fine for the lst 4 months
And this is how it looks now with some Black Racing wheels sprayed in white, with a rare square light TOM's grill and a custom 2.5 zorst with a Kakimoto back ok from a rx7 welded on there
I have just fitted some fiesta RST Recaros but I don't have any pics atm.
