  2. Dear Everybody! Can you please give me the part numbers of the clips/Fixing that i need to attatch my number plate holder onto my Glanza Tailgate. I can't put the tailgate on loose as it could just fall off, and my front end's completely Finished. As soon as this goes on i can Put pics up of my finished ride. I've spent so much time and effort on this car and just this little things holding me back. If anyone has ever bought these clips/fixing before and know of how much they cost that would also help. If somebody could post a reply with a list of part numbers that i could print of, gi
  3. I'm confused mate, is it this what your after? http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/PC2-17-4-Toyota-Ster...1QQcmdZViewItem That changes the toyota plugs to the Standard ISO plugs that most modern headunits use. I kept that sony headunit for a few hours before realising it didnt have no amp output so i sold it on. Nice headunit though!
  4. I'd Listen to Si mate. That pee'd me of knowing the car didn't have central locking. Also ma mates would be like has your car really not got central locking and have a little giggle at me! I just got an alarm Fitted and the guy quoted me £45 or so per door inlcuding fitting (pumps supplied by him) Also a year unlimited warranty. My alarm and the central locking came to £205. (its a shitty toad alarm but its better than nothing and moneys tight because of doing the whole Glanza Facelift) Also i've been told its not an easy job you got to put the pumps in the right position,
  5. Check this out: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Bosch-HID-headlight-...1QQcmdZViewItem I've got no history with the buyer or product. But they're bosch I'd go for it if the funds where available
  6. Might be good asking Idrees...
  7. 6J x 14h2 ET45 Ok for starlet? No rubbing or anything like that?
  8. Good luck with the wheels mate, i've got some to do soon as well out of interest, where do you get the coloured wheel nuts from?
  9. Cheers for that, They make the car much more of an aggressive look
  10. Has anybody got any pics by anychance they could post up?
  11. LOL u joka! We'll have to wait and c what happens hey I got my number plate surround the uva day yeah, and i was gna tke your advice, u knw get rid of the laquor instead of getting it all off. And instead i js gve it a few rubs and it all started cuming away! thort F*KK , thought if this is how its all been done, i'm going to have to take it all off, otherwise my layers ul just fall off after a while! Also got maself sum Cellulose thinners from Halfords and a ruff block thing to give me the key before my first layer I'll post some pics up of the surround, should be done by tomorrow re
  12. Welcome to the club mate, Great people on here Hope you enjoy ya stay...
  13. And i've read on threads on here somewhere that halfords can't even mix my paint right even when you give them the 1ao paint code. How would i be sure another place would get the code right? Frick me man i would have preffered my car being a normal non metalic colour! lol
  14. Thanks nightspirit and alex for all your feedback Ermm i don't have a clue man im prepping and going to give it to anybody thats a 'pro' ;) or recon they are a pro spray painter. Can you do pro sprayin alex? Also wher you from mate? They better use a spray gun. If you can do it mate, i wouldnt mind giving it you to do for a good price (final coats i mean not prepping) Regards Ammar
  15. That car's Amazing! i personally ONLY in this case preffer the middle spoiler being there because the top spoilers so large it give the car a boxed of look. If you get what i mean just like the glanza spoiler does on an N/A. But because your top spoiler is so big and sticks out so much it doesn't look as cool without the middle one. Thats my personal preference though mate, good luck with ya modding
  16. LOL u craked! that would be fine with working on metal areas of the car mate. But the Spoiler is made of Fibre Glass or Plastic, so i'm very precautious. Il take you up on your advice, il buy sum scotchbrite to use before i do my first coat of primer. Should i also use the scotchbrite inbetween primer layers or just use the 1200 for that?
  17. 240 thats really rought tho isnt it mate? Palm sander, would that be the orbital sander? Or just a normal one?
  18. @ Glanza Al - By dry coat, is that exactly what you mean? a quick once over in other words? By the wet coat to you mean a generous application compared to the first??
  19. No0o0o0o dont say thattt... lol Ive think, il sand down all the paint of the rest of the flat area on the top, il leave the bottom as is, Then just remove the top laquor on the rest of the painted area's (Side's inner and out) ready for primer coat. Would that be ok?
  20. @ Glanza Al - Cheers for all your time and effort mate, you recommended 'I would reccommend Plasti-kote High- Build aerosol primer' But i've already bought some plastic primer from Halfords, would that be ok? Cheers for all the help
