How much are you after for these bud. Excuse my ignorance but how do these fit on to my fuel lines?
-
Sorry guys I meant to put adjustable FPR
-
I am after a walbro 255lph fuel pump and a fuel pressure regulator. To fit to an ep91 please if anyone has them available? Regards Dave

Alarm systems can be a common cause for a drain on a battery if you have one fitted?
-
I picked up a 2nd hand one from a lad on ebay (who is also a club member). Didn't realise I would have so many offers for a replacement so thanks to all the guys who have offered :-)

Think you may have posted in the wrong section here buddy, but could just be a fuse for the fan motor, a faulty switch or connection etc. Try reposting it in the electrics section, maybe someone there could give you more of a clue.

Ok mate shall do. Thanks for the reply :-)

Hi, probably an age old question, I have had a search but I cant seem to find the answer. I bought an adjustable actuator at the weekend. Im guessing the port on the new actuator plums onto the compressor housing on the turbo but what happens to the other pipe that was onto the stock actuator that runs to the efi pipe ( I have bypassed the boost solenoid). Do I just blank it off?
-
Cheers mate I shall send them an email in the morning
-
Any recommendations who or where to send it to?

So I decided to strip the little turbo down to see what all the fuss was about, just have a few questions if anyone can help... can anyone clarify if this is the correct seal kit I need http://m.ebay.co.uk/itm/Turbo-repair-rebuild-kit-CT9-Toyota-Landcruiser-Starlet-Previa-Hiace-Picnic-/222095517834?nav=SEARCH I marked the compressor and turbine wheels before I removed them , but if I fit them even slightly out of balance is it likely to explode the 1st time I use it or should I fit the seals etc and send it to be balanced? Or should I just send the whole unit off for rebuild and who would you
-
Bit of a long shot but do you still have the turbo for sale?
-
Thanks buddy, I have seen a few pop up in the past but never taken much notice as I thought mine was ok lol. I shall keep a look out :-) I don't touch anything on eBay especially these turbos from China mate, although you said Hong Kong I'm sure someone else we tell you yes or no, in the search bar on this forum type in ct9 or hybrid see what comes up people are always selling good turbos on here

Thanks for the replies guys, been looking at things like the speed vision hybrid from Hong Kong on ebay (not sure how to post the link) anyone had experience with them?

Took the Glanza out on a run this afternoon, pulled up after around 45 mins and while it was on tick over it started smoking from the exhaust a bluey, oily kind of smoke. Have a bit of oily mist around the intercooler pipes too so suspect the turbo seals have failed. Question is do I buy a 2nd hand one, send mine off for repair, or go hybrid/td04? Im pretty handy with a spanner so would replacing the seals myself be an option? Any advice or info greatly appreciated
-
Yes I did actually now you mention it. I had to tow it out of the garage so I could get the donor car in. Do you think that may have something to do with it?
-
Ok thanks for the info,I have replaced the o/s one and shall be doing the n/s this weekend, just seemed a bit odd that they would fail within such a short space of doing the conversion.
-
Since converting my glanza from auto to manual I have had both front wheel bearings fail within 100 miles. Pretty certain they were fine before I did the conversion. Could this just be coincidence? I didn't torque up the hub nut after I did the conversion as I was just doing a few short road tests to see that everything was ok, I just tightened them with a battery gun and nipped them with a bar. Are wheel bearings a common failure item?
-
Hi I did the conversion on mine over christmas time, the auto drive shafts do fit but the auto box mount doesn't fit onto the manual box (well mine didn't anyway). I also had to modify the brake pedal by cutting the foot rest part off and welding the shorter type manual pedal on. Plenty of info here that you can search for too.

Removing n/s drive shaft cup from box
Madge1980 replied to Madge1980's topic in Drivetrain & Transmission
Cheers for the replies guys much appreciated. I finally managed to get it out but I had to remove the bell housing. I knocked it out from the inside through the diff whilst 2 guys put pressure on with 2 pry bars. It was just tight on the bearing. I wasn't sure if it was held in by the C shaped spring clip the same as the o/s or something else. Just hope the other one comes out of the manual box or I shall have to remove the box again! -
Hi all, I am doing an auto to manual conversion. The gearbox I have used has come from a n/a starlet so I need to remove the driveshaft cup from the auto box and the one from the n/a box to swap them over, as they are different sizes. I have tried to remove the one from the auto box but just cant get it to come out. I have searched the forum but can't seem to find the answer. Is there a trick to it or just brute force? Thanks in advance for any info.

Pm'd you mate. Cheers.

Hi I am just in tbe final stages of converting my auto glanza to manual and was wondering if anyone knew which wires in the loom I have to wire the manual rev light connector on the gearbox to?
