Cheers guys I'll check that out this weekend, I know the positive terminal is a little bit loose even when fully tightened so might need to get some shims or something for it.
-
Hey guys, so recently I've noticed that when I turn my headlights on or use the electric windows at idle the car drops around 200 - 300 revs and feels like its getting close to the point where it might cut out or stall. I've also noticed that all of the interior lights such as the dash clock go really dim when the headlights are turned on and stay dim while I'm driving also.
I've recently had a new battery fitted and the alternator was tested and is in good shape, has anyone got any idea what could be causing this?

One on Facebook for £2850 at the moment, needs a little work though
-
Yeah it is a lovely kit, should be good to go then if you'v got all the bits lol. Haven't got round to fitting my tf035 kit yet as blew my engine up haha
-
Yeah they're direct fitment mate I believe. Its worth noting though you'll probably need an uprated clutch, FPR, and some form of engine management to run a tf035 with a decent amount of boost. Cant say for certain but I believe the standard clutch is really too good the closer you get to 200bhp. Probably would work if you don't run too much boost though. 5e colin is probably the bloke to ask about that though, pretty sure he's got quite a bit of experience with them.
-
Haha fair one mate, as you say you'll need a manifold and quite a few other bits to run the tf035, if you happen to change your mind though I've got a few lying around
-
Got a TF035 mate if thats something you would be interested in?
-
If you've still got this at the end of the month I may have it off you
-
If this doesn't go sometime soon I might just get a loan and make a forged monster fuck it
-
Not too sure if this one is still for sale mate - http://www.ukstarletowners.com/topic/103313-greddy-front-mount-kit-with-roose-hoses-murray-clamps/

If you get the money back I would consider getting a WEPR manifold / turbo kit mate, build quality is just great and the original buyer gets a lifetime warranty (I believe) . Also never had a bad experience with TD and can't recommend them highly enough. Hope all goes well and you get it all sorted mate.

Pretty sure I've got one at home mate, I'll take a look when I get home in a few hours and let you know

Recently bought a 4 EFTE from the guy after mine blew up. Great seller with constant communication throughout. Would highly recommend him and would definitely buy from him again.

Ok cheers lads, I'll give it a go and see what happens. Will any type of shielded wire do or is there some special shit I need?
-
How big of a job is it to change the wiring?

Recently fitted a new engine to my Glanza as the previous one kinda blew up. Only issue is that now the engine warning light is on and shows an error code of 52 which is knock sensor I believe.
I'm a bit confused though because previous posts I have read say that this light should only come on around 3000 rpm, but the light is on even at idle for me.
Also I've noticed the car seems a bit sluggish and doesn't have a much as it did before the previous engine broke. I'm pretty sure the front gearbox engine mount is also on its way out as the seems to a bit a shaking and rattling around that area.
So I'm just wondering if this means the knock sensor needs replacing or could the fucked engine mount be setting it off?
Cheers,
Sam
