Making 4-2-1 header without catalyzator and 2" pipe with Honda rear muffler. Do You recomend to use middle muffler also, how Your n/a sounds are with or without muffler?
Aiming to get quiet sound without "power" loosing, do I just survive with rear muffler. And don't know Honda sounds yet, maybe horrible, that why I ended almost normal muffler, not aftermarket tuning muffler. Also gona use this exhaust partly after turbo conversion, 2" should be enough in the rear of car.

Looking good by far, massive transformation from n/a look

When I bought this car last summer, previous owner had changed tuning rear muffler, horrible sound and axle was hitting to pipe all the time, so I changed it to oem muffler what came with car.
Hate this cutted hole in bumper.
So I bought brand new Honda Civic Type R oem muffler for 70 euros, now when I'm building new full 2" exhaust anyway and have to think sounds also for n/a and future turbo setup. Not easy to find small semi quiet muffler, so started to watch other cars mufflers.
Should be ok for Starlet, same size almost and in/ex pioes are right positions.
About 7kg, not bad.

I have new Tein lowering springs waiting, very curious also to hear why those are not so good? Everybody knows, that with oem old schocks car won't become racecar, but rides lower. Compared to other brands, those can't be any worse or most worst springs with 40-55mm lowering

My EP70 Starlet seats, MR2 SW20 covers modded. It was time to take these out for weight reduction.
Almost bolt on EP70 rails to EP90, only inner rear bracket needs some patents.
And seat belt locking system.
Much better, now rest of interior looks horrible :/
Seats are so low that I can see my time clock, but steering wheel is now too high, have to lower steering column maybe with washers...

Purhased Glanza spoiler for 50 euros, not bad att all.
Paint was bad, but same as mine.
Little cleaning with these and almost like new.
Drilled three hole to a n/a boot.
Also led brakelight working.
Perfect for my car, almost invisible. Lower corners I used two side foamtape and upper corners are attached with bolts.

Moved my spare engine to my friends garage, Starlet with twin engine
Easier to make header.
Found this second pipe as well, very hard to find it cheap.
Cutted flanges and brackets away, some parts were touching the block and oil pan.
Almost perfect fit, except outer pipes.
Little bending and perfect fitment
Then old exhaust seal for mould.
And later got three stainless and five normal steel plasma cutted flanges. Later coming few turbo header...
And few 2" exhaust parts, now have to get time to finnish this project.

Weird, maybe few washers are different. I have euro EL54 Paseo and both Toyota kits seems to fit, 95/08 on was fitment. Only big difference can be head gasket, what is offered two different thickness, 0,5mm to 1,4mm or something. Some aftermarket gasket have measurement what I have seen here at forum info and Wictor Reinz brand gasket sets for example. Also intrested T9 hear if somebody can explain something about gasket kits, have to order one set at least...

I have ignitor plug/connector problem sometimes in my 3S-GTE MR2 after washing engine or heavy rain wheather, almost same igniter as in Starlet. Somehow water goes in the plug and all dead after that, problem goes away when taking plug away, some pressure air and WD40. I have greased and oiled it several times, but sometimes problem comes back, wery weird thing. I have checked wires and plug several times and everything look okay always. So very sentive plug, but You propably have cheked it for sure, I was giving earlier other ways. Keep on eye on that plug, sounds more possible reason than knock sensor...
