Hi everyone got a big update of the car put the back axel on put the drum brakes back together and lots more I'll let the pictures do the talking
What the panhard rod looked like before
Cleaned up and a coat of rust to metal
And then painted
And then the same with these
Also the underneath got a good Schutz and the fuel tank was dropped to get behind so I took this corner support off as it was rotting and gave it a nice lick of paint

Indeed that's a nice set of cars mate

I seriously need to make a start on freshening up my underside! Love it so far

Fair play to you. It will be well worth the extra work in the long term if you plan on keeping it
Exactly better doing it now rather than later

Attention to detail there is nice!
Thanks mate

Love the fact you're starting with the stuff most people neglect. Great progress, I'll keep an eye on this one

The next thing I have done is clean up the engine bay abit more first I took all the paint off the rocker cover as their was oil on it making the paint soft so then i ended up polishing the rocker cover and the intake I also got a pod filter which I think looks good and sounds even better. I also had some spare bootlid struts so i used then on the bonnet

So this is my first time uploading to this site so I'm abit of a noob. After saving up my money and looking for the right car at the right price I managed to find this and I knew this was the right car, the link I added is a picture of the day the car arrived.
What the car come with
-front and back strut brace
-99 spec interior
-glanza steering wheel
-tte front splitter
-electric side mirrors
-clear indicator lights
Oh and an oil leak
Let me know if the link don't work I was not sure on how to add images
Marks sr back again + *4-2-1*

I am also going to see if I can get these o.z wheels to fit as another set of wheels
I have also got a set of Toyota mud flaps which thought would look good
I dunno if any one noticed but this that panhard rod bolts to has been damaged in the past and as a result the axel sits further out one side.
To fix this it was either buy a adjustable panhard rod which I will in the future or just cut the standard rod down. I decided to cut 8mm out and weld it back together
This is the finished product I also put it in a vice and gave it a quick wiggle waggle and it's solid so I'm happy with that also the axel was jacked up to ride height and the wheels are evenly spaced out
