  1. very nice!! thanks for adding this
  2. Got the tacho working also! Looks so much better now it's finished. For the people still wondering how to wire a ep70 tacho, I will explain this. You will have to add a wire from your negative on the coil to your cluster. You will need this black wire: You want to add it to another black wire on the cluster, this is its location: For the lighting I went to the scrapyard and got myself a second plug to use the pins inside of it. You have to add this wire to an empty slot in the existing plug and connect it to mass. the red wire was the only wire th
  3. Thanks a bunch mate! I got the lighting figured out already, I followed the copper lining on the back of the cluster and noticed this cluster needs an extra mass. I added a wire in the second slot and the lighting worked! Just the tacho nos, no clue on this one lol.
  4. Could be, just finished the hoses and seems to work perfectly. fan is nice and quiet also. Sorry for the purplish pic, my phones camera is not okay Also verrrrrrrrrry lucky to find myself a cluster with tacho! really really happy with this one. plugged it in straight away but found out my lighting doesn't work and it won't show my rpm's so it needs some rewiring I think? Anyone has an idea?
  5. I'm considering an external wastegate but not planning to put out more than 250 whp or such. Not sure if it's really worth the hassle as they aren't cheap either, what would you recommend? That's why I haven't seen this wepr kit, it's custom right?
  6. it's a 4a-fe header yes. Wasn't a fast job to modify but I had this done as I can't weld unfortunately Radiator for an ep82 as far as I know. Bought this thing before I even had the car these upgrades are meant for the turbo setup. Just kind of making the car turbo ready bit by bit. thanks mate!
  7. Sweeeet build! Following this. Also have a question, ep70s bay is alot smaller than ep91 bay, which manifold kits will be the smallest and will defo fit with td04? This one seems perfect.
  8. Yep, did some tucking. Also I still had both ep70 and ep91 looms in, so I had to cut some out. Made a battery sleeve, painted my washer fluid box, installed my GPS track and trace (very accurate!) Installed my polished catch can, polished half size radiator and polish coolant tank. no time left to add the hoses, will leave that for next time.
  9. Ep70's are not as popular as the gt and glanza. Which makes this the perfect sleeper for me, it lighter and does not look fast in any way. Also I owned a glanza before and I already think my ep70 is more fun to drive than my glanza was. Seems like a pretty bad ass build. Im going for 250whp using a td04 with forged 5efe myself since I will use it as daily also and because of the traction issues, huge tyres won't fit unfortunately. Will defo follow this one here
  10. serious project nice to read this as i'm going the same way, 5efte. also, what power do you want to run and which turbo will you use?
  11. Will do Pikey, thanks! @ MR-2, I bought this car with the tank already swapped in. happened to be my old glanza tank by coïncidence, lol. Can't tell you how difficult that was but seems very easy to do. only requires a little bit of cutting underneath the rear seat to fit the walbro in. If I need to take some pictures let me know, id be happy to help.
  12. Thanks guys:) Using a glanza tank with walbro 255L intank pump mate. If anyone can move this topic to projects thats fine by me.
  13. Lazy weekend. fixed my temperature gauge and painted some interior parts in OEM grey.
  14. Received my boss kit and snap off yesterday and installed it straight away, as I suspected there's some play in the snap off which I really hate. Since my veloce wheel is not that deep I don't want to use it without snap off, so i'm considering whether to use the snap off or not. Think I have to take it on a drive and see how it handles. Also still have a really nice 3 spoke deep-dish steering wheel laying around.. might use this one without snap-off.. Also, my car is lowered with D2 shocks in front. Rear is lowered with ep82 shocks and lowering springs. Bought myself po
  15. Already made a decision on my wheel choice yesterday, couldn't choose between Rota OSR and Rota Flashbacks. I think the flashbacks look better on the car (except the heart of the rim will be full black instead), also the offset is quite nice on these, 15x7 ET40 for the people wondering what OSR's look like: Tyre size will be front 195 and rear 175 wide.
