It will fire up without fail, started after i drove to work approx 2 miles, left it until dinner time and went to it and it would crank for 5 secs then start up. Ill check battery atwork tomorrow just to rule out. The loose connection/corroded pins on the temp sensor? Were is that located mate? Ill defo check this out and make sure all other connections are ok.

Thought it could be pump just didnt know if there were issues others had suffered with. If i replace it with the 255lph one would the car need mapping to suit or would it be ok? Thanks.

Every now and then but happening more frequent my glanza just cranks then fires after about 5 seconds, once running its spot on and will start first turn after that. Im also getting smell of petrol but ive checked from tank to injectors and no leaks found. Dont know if this is normal as my last one i could smell petrol too. Im thinking maybe a lazy pump but have no idea about these engines at the mo. If anyone has had similar issues what was the outcome? Also any help would me much appreciated cheers guys!

Hi mate, It sounds like your motor has lost its park position and chances are youll need a new motor. Take it fully off the car plug the connector back on and put it in the intermittent setting, turn wipers off and build it all back up but before putting wipers back on watch the splines and see if they have changed. If still in the centre after doing this itll be new motor. Nick.

Hi, im just wondering if anybody knows if theres a way to find out if my car should have remote locking or just central locking from door lock as i can have the part number for a genuine remote fob. Also if it does happen to have it is there some device that will program it as toyota have said they wouldnt be able to do it due to it being an import and there diag equipment wouldnt read the vehicle data. I bet people are tired of seeing the title by now and theres probably loads been said about them before but i thought id ask being abit of a newby to these engines, what is required for a can setup? And were is best to get hold of all parts needed and what work is required to fit one? Im also interested in getting a few gauges if theres any recommendations? Analog prefereably. Does the fan kick in at all? If its all corroded good chance that its the rad but same as ep82 probs wanting thermostat too.

The cover lifting would make it run poor but would still run, when you say it cuts out and just dies when you try and start it will the engine crank or nothing?

Hi all, new to modifying these engines. Ive recently purchased a glanza v running just shy of 200hp. Would it be ideal staying with the stick fuel pump or upgrading to TD 255lph one? If i upgrade will it need mapping to suit or should it be ok? Its on a JAM ecu if thats any good lol. Thanks in advance Stock**

Think im just looking for things to buy to slightly increase reliability and cosmetics, dont want to increase power just yet. Would any can fit or do i have to get specific for glanza? Were did you get rocker painted? Wanting mine gold if you know anyone who does it. Cheers.

Theres a rocker for sale with them fittings welded on, do you know were i can source catch cans from and if they come with braided lines? I like your setup to be honest ha. Are these needed at just under 200hp? Cheers.

Hi, ive recently bought my 2nd glanza and im loving it. I arent looking at gaining any more power from it at the moment. Its recently been on a power run at rs tuning and i noticed the engine was lifting like mad and wondered if there is any recommendations on engine mounts? Also want to fit an oil catch can if any recommendations too and also if i need any other parts to fit it would be much appreciated. Not massively upto spec on these engines so might sound like abit of a tard lol. Thanks.
