That's just disgusting if you ask me!
There is no need for that, when you're selling stuff you are never going to please everybody. Chap just needs to grow up and deal with it!
I completely agree, I know how much of a pain in the arse customers can be but you just can't talk to people like that, if you think that's bad have a look at their eBay and Facebook reviews. They even create fake profiles to abuse customers who've asked for refunds. Incredible.

I miss this thing so much that if a decent one pops up for sale I'll probably buy it. I'd quite like a white one.
-
Haha have a look at his replies to negative and neutral feedback he's had.
-
That's what I would've liked to do, store it and take it out occasionally, not guna lie.. The BMW is a lovely place to be sat in everyday and 400nm of torque is a lot of fun but I am already starting to really miss my little old Starlet.
-
What did he make of that white one out of interest?
I think he thought that overall the white one was alright but definitely not worth the £1995 they've got it up for or words to that effect.
-
I got £2100 for it, the bloke had also been to view the white one and silver one that have both been on eBay for months and months. Sadly I don't think mine will have low mileage for long as he's planning as using it as a daily/for the commute and saving his Audi TT.
-
SOLD! To a lovely chap this morning who drove four hours to see it.
-
Off topic, but I think it may have been you I saw recently heading onto M27 West (was in GT Turbo).
Clean SR GLWS
Was it by the Marriott hotel? I was off to splashdowns witg mrs DanSr,

I had some very strong words for him put it that way, and he didn't reply haha

Ha ha yep spot on my friend, all 3 offers were without viewing the car, I removed the advert on gumtree as I had too many idiots on there, someone actually messaged me on there saying '£2400 for old car HAHA £240 maybe you change price now'
-
I had some absolute dreamer offer me £400 today, best offer so far is £2000, also had an offer of a grand on Thursday, I'm sure there is someone on this forum who wants to buy themself a low mileage reliable Easter present...
-
Ah thanks guys, but years of trouble free motoring, future classic low mileage and neither of you will buy it... Shame!! Shame on both of you!! Currently got 16 watchers on the bay of e, a couple of messages but nothing serious, yet.
-
I was worried some might think it was too much, I would love it if someone on the forum bought it though.
-
I know I will regret this but with a new car I have no choice, I will miss it a lot, but anyway some info about the car...

Good point, it'll probably be more hassle trying to get another interior anyway. Only fault is the crank oil seal which is getting done a long with new cambelt in the next few days, body is very good there's just a few marks on the bumpers which I wish I got done.
-
Yeh mines got the 98 spec interior, and mileage is 36k.
-
I'll probably take £2000 minimum for mine, I was going to put it all back to standard before I sell it as well, but the local breakers wanted £100 for a standard NA interior!
-
Will be sad to see it go, have enjoyed owning it but I just couldn't turn the beemer down, if I could keep both and use the starlet on the weekends and for shows/meets I would, but I just don't have the room.
-
This will be up for sale very shortly as I have bought a BMW 123d, injector problem is now sorted and it's getting a new crank seal and cambelt next week, so if anyone is interested drop me a PM.
-
Having a bit of a mare with this at the moment, it's leaking fuel from two of the injectors, the seals have been replaced and it's STILL leaking. So not really sure what to do with it.
-
Thanks guys! All has been well up until I jacked her up today as it's been leaking a bit of oil... uh oh... looks like crank seal to me..

Mental price, 80s/90s car prices have rocketed in the last couple of years but some people do take the piss. Just 5 years ago my mate sold his Fiesta XR2i for £250 had he kept it until now he'd get quite possibly 10x that. Also agree with the post about Novas, a good one these days will cost you a pretty penny.
