Ah thanks guys, well worth it they look 100% better, now just need to get some new adjusters as they broke putting the crystals on, alignment is well out but the MOT tester was kind enough to let that slip.

Didn't look bad considering it hasn't been cleaned in weeks, I didn't want to sell it but change of circumstance means I need a diesel, I had plenty of offers but in the end I just couldn't do it so removed the listing and am guna save for a diesel a few months down the line and keep the starlet as well.

Really? So it's more than doubled in price I knew prices were on the rise but bloody hell lol

I put mine on eBay for £2500 last week (a bit much maybe, but done it so there was room to haggle) and got LOADS of interest, mine has another 15k on this so will be interesting to see if this sells, they've already dropped the price by £650 and IMO even at 19k £3800 was far too much.

No it's fine mate, I genuinely thought £50 was cheap lol! I've only seen two others for sale which were £70 and £90, also I got mine for £65 which I did think was a bit much.

All done, was a pain in the ass trying to do it in the dark but I wasn't going to go in defeated, I couldn't budge the bolts but the 'gentle tug' (pulling until the veins were popping out of my forehead) was all it took. So my crystal headlights have finally arrived from ID works, but now have a new dilemma... how in the good lords name do you remove the headlights?!

From what I've seen elsewhere mate around £180-£200, and yeh it's the 6 Speed, not sure if it fits the 4afe though.

​Ive decided I wont be selling this for a while, I'm dealing with enough fucking idiots selling my fiesta to put me off selling another car privately for a long time. Seeing as my drivers side headlight keeps misting up badly I'm just going to order some crystals from id-workz when I get paid, along with some amber indicators. This is unintentionally becoming almost identical to Pikeys thread lol.

It is very clean indeed, I took it to a Toyota specialist on Monday to get it up on the ramps just to make sure everything is good for MOT next month, guy said I'd be mad to sell a car in this condition that cost me just £450 and if I am ever stupid enough to sell it give him a call. Its made me think though is it really worth selling the cleanest most reliable car Ive ever had just because I want more BHP. Yeah black shows everything you could scratch black paint with a feather lol. I probably will keep it but I just go through phases of wanting a change. But another thing a non enthusiast/car person will probably see it as way over priced so my market would be very small.

Yeh that's roughly what I thought, and I agree they don't really have a cult following like say for example old fords and vauxhalls. So it'll be a good few years before and if these are worth silly money. One good thing though is that black SRs hardly ever come up for sale it's mostly silver ones you ever see now.

What would this be worth roughly IF I decided to sell in January? 34k miles, FSH, cambelt done at 28k, alloys freshly refurbed and would come with a years MOT. They are so rare in this condition I don't really know what I would sell it for IF I do, almost all I have seen for sale have had at least double the mileage of mine so it's a difficult one to price.

Next up this week I'm going to respray the wiper blades to freshen up the car a bit more, at some point I'd like to remove the petrol tank and rear beam, give them a really good paint and also properly under seal the car, not sure what with yet as I've read good and bad things about waxoyl and dinitrol etc. I'll probably also replace all the bushes with poly ones as well whilst I'm at it.
