  1. Cool cheers mate. I'll be looking into just getting a new windshield I think. But first thing I've got to do is make sure it is the windshield. I noticed the black strips across the roof are loose so it might be coming from there. Probably easier to pull the ceiling panel off and see where it's coming from
  2. That's awesome mate! That's really helpful cheers man Cheers mate I'll check them out
  3. Hey guys So I have a standard glanva V and I've got awful wheel wobble under harder braking. Warped discs seems to be the issue according to a few friends who are much more mechanically minded than me. So can anyone advise me on a good set of discs and also is this something I could do at home with a decent guide or am I better taking it to a garage? I don't have a lot of experience but I want to learn as much as I can but obviously messing around with the brakes isn't something I want to get wrong thanks all!
  4. Hmm I seem to be hearing that a lot from a few friends lately. I'll definitely be looking to go with an independent one if the price is that different. thanks mate
  5. Yeah I spoke to them on their live chat and that was the quote... Maybe if I rang them they'd quote me different? I'm not sure but like I said above it seems to be fixed at least for the time being so I'll have a scout about and see what other prices I can find. but for now on to the next issue of possible warped brake discs
  6. Ah yes that seem like a much better plan lol. But it seem I have temporarily fixed it with some sealant from halfrauds. seems to be holding against the rough welsh weather at the moment
  7. I'm seeing a pattern here I'm thinking I'll just go with the safe option at the moment. More than anything I've been after a glanza for about 8 years and I finally got on less than a week ago so I don't think I can bring myself to throw a stone at it lol
  8. Cool thanks man. I just had a check with them and they quoted me £156 to do the front one. Doesn't seem too steep I suppose.
  9. lol that will be my next option. thanks again mate i'll have a word with them now
  10. Awesome thanks man, Any idea how much they normally charge? or would it be covered by my insurance? I have windscreen cover but I don't know if it covers being resealed as well
  11. Hi guys I'm still new to the site so if this is posted in the wrong place I do apologise I currently have a nice little leak in the windshield right above the drivers side so it's dripping straight on my crotch every time It rains (which in wales is like 98% of the time) after doing some checking online I can't seem to find a price on getting it resealed. Can I get it resealed or would I need to replace the windshield completely? and if I can get it resealed any ideas on price? Cheers
  12. will do mate! I've got a nice drive home through the mountains tonight so Ill get some tidy pics
  13. Hi guys After dreaming about owning a Glanza for the 8 years or so I finally purchased my first one yesterday! So I thought I'd join this forum with my fellow starlet owners! I'm not going to lie I'm very much a novice when it comes to car but I fell in love with the starlets after having a lift to Japfest in 08 in a GT Turbo but decided I liked the Glanza's more. So I'm here to learn as much as possible and have a chuckle along the way! I've only got the one photo of the car at the moment but I'll post some pretty shots of it with the welsh valleys tonight! Cheers all! Jason
