  1. So recently as I hit small bumps and pot holes there is a knocking sound coming from the front drivers side and at high speeds like on the motor way my steering wheel vibrates intermittently. After it started knocking I have laid under my car and noticed that my drive shaft has play in it and replicated the knocking sound I hear when going over bumps and pot holes. Also boot attached to the back of the wheel is covered in grease and appears to be leaking. Just wondering if any of you guys could help me figure out exactly what it is so I can get it fixed asap. This is on an na ep91. I'm assuming it's the cv joint but would love a second opinion. Any help is appreciated massively :)

It the boot is split on the drive shaft it will fling grease all over, Stick a new boot on and pack it with grease :)

  2. I've got a brand new 96 Glanza fan switch & some 96 Glanza rear lights laying around.
I'm after the plastic part circled in yellow in this picture as well, Drivers side, Could also do with a rubber bung for the larger hole in the spare wheel well.

Edit: Forgot to add the picture, what a dickhead.

  3. What size oil cooler is recommended for these motors? Not used on track or abused in any way, and purely a summer car. Thanks

    Doubt you'll need one really

  4. The one I had under my seat had a built in amp and was flat (ish) maybe not beefy enough for what you're after though. Alpine iirc

I think I'll get an amp under the seat but not much else. I've found a nice sub box that will sit perfectly behind the passenger seat :)

  5. So yes mate, I don't have a spare either (weight) but it still goes in the spare wheel well.

So you use the existing threaded section to secure it.

Have you hidden the wires to it under carpet or something or do they just run along the boot floor to it?

Personally, don't see the point stripping a car out then putting a sub in it. Not the type of car for all that rubbish

I prefer the look of it stripped out. My rear bench was bent in half after a crash and the plastics were pretty shitty too. I haven't done it for the weight reduction.

Don't run any audio these days but when I had my hilux I had underseat subs (obviously only a pick up bed at the back) and they were brilliant in a small cab, vibing through the seats lol

I don't I'll be able to get an amp under the seat but not much else lol, Don't remember there being much room under them!
