i made a new bracket on mine. like two u shaped flat bit of metal and they were clamped with the nuts on the cable. before i made them though i just used the rolla mount n used the nuts on the cable. from memory. sorry if its wrong.
-
yeah i understand that. So shall drill a new hole n bolt it that way. Obv theres 3 flat ish holes for seat frame. 4th goes into tunnel. My side mounts use existin feet of old frame. So that hole is used by seat frame. Can i use same bolt for harness then seat frame or is there another way? Cheers craig

yeah transmission tunnel side i'm stuck with. Is yours in same hole as frame mount? One bolt for both? Or could i use the rear side mounts on seat itself? Cheers craig
-
and everyone else has done it this way? i'm unsure. cheers anyway mate

side mounted seats. how have u done the left bolt? 4 points is two in back. right side to bottom of old belt mount. left side bolts where?

in theory your not out of pocket. Still gotta buy an engine. Still gotta forge. Just put it down to experience. Obv hassle of swappin engines but oh well. I had same situation after takin car to garage n something up. Not engine but new crack in bumper. Can't prove anythin but pisses me off. Just my two pence worth.

is it still 200 brake? or is his new turbo pushin alot more? cheers craig
-
you mean the locater pins? Or actually chopped the rail? What u done with your old seats n rails?
-
rails fit in a 95 gt? Then i can take whole seat out, butcher the 91 rail to fit bucket. Cheers craig
-
i didn't mean using a c pillar bar. I meant the mount you'd use. Where the rear seat belt goes through at top near boot hinge. Is better there or off rear bench mount.
-
does anyone run there harness of the rear mount. Presume c pillar mount. Seen it on a ed cars n wondered if his was better than the rear clicker point. Cheers craig
-
so how many people on here have attached the harness on a roll cage? compared to the bolt where the rear clicker is? was goin to install a harness off that bolt but not sure now. cheers craig
-
have bought one of those 5" jobbys and was wondering where to take rev signam frm. read some poeple use pin 7 of ecu or straight off clocks. on an ep82. where is ecu as can't find mine behind glve box or behind centre console. cheers craig

are u lettin it warm up? does it stil ldo it after ten mins of driving. my old ct9 if u went on boost frm cold wud make a funny whistle cranky noise.
-
i beleive on all turbo cars it would do it. not just on tong turbo. if your actuator isn't holding wastegate closed properly it would vibrate off boost right? nothing but big ups for tongs. made me 162 at .6
-
i had same problem. tighten actuator up n its fine. its because theres a small amount of play in the wastegate arm n penny(the round washer ting) attatched to the end. need the wastegate arm under pressure. i'm running .5 on actuator n then manual bc. hope this helps craig
