  2. Boost gauge reading completely off, installed all the new wires which come with it into the exact places as the previous boost gauge and that was working fine (same brand and model)

this says -0.5 to -1bar boost on idle and when boosting it is nowhere near right either, defo not the car as the other gauge was working fine, any help appreciated

  3. Have just removed old boost gauge (apexi), only by the plug on the face of the gauge and plugged straight into new gauge (apexi) was reading fine with the old one, now it's all over the place and most of the time is in the minus numbers.

is it ok to change gauges like this or do I have to install new leads even though it's same make?

  4. Just got car back from having td04 & wepr ramhorn kit and few other bits fitted but dump valve was still left connected and was still dumping instead of the screamer & w/gate, have removed & blocked off the dump valve but screamer still not working, Any suggestions?

(Have got bottom air ports on w/gate plugged apart from 1 which a hose goes to turbo& all top ports open) Cheers

  5. So apparently I'm meant to replace one of the hoses on rocker cover with a breather and leave the other hose to just vent out when converting to td04, can someone please explain which hose I need to vent out to atmosphere and which one I need to put the breather on? (Don't have my car for a week so can't go out and look around) cheers

  6. Its mega easy mate, get your self some circlip pliers, get the circlip off, then you will need to file/dremel down a small metal pin in the compressor housing you cant miss it, then you can rotate it freely, if your turbo has only just come off a subaru you will also need to remove the exhaust housing and rotate the centre cartridge to make sure the oil return is facing the floor. and put it all back together!

Yeah mate the circlip part looks easy enough just having trouble separating to spin the oil return round some people said use heat I have a butane torch how would i use this to help separate, just heat the exhaust housing side?

  7. Have seen 2 different ways 1 being completely separating the core and the other being just rotating the compressor housing (looks a lot easier if u have the pliers) but will the oil return and water etc be in the right place? Think this method may just be for other cars? Cheers
