With correct wheel size 5th gear and 3000rpm I think it's around 100+.....correct me if I miss something
4efte comes with c52 on starlet gt turbo and c56 on glanza
Also some versions off gt turbo comes with c153 gearbox....if I remember it has the longer top gear ratio(0.725/1)
I find your box c160 very good but it is weaker than turbo boxes.....

It's not bad. Around 105kph now. I am aiming to improve this with more engine torque lower down.
It's topping out at 6krpm at around 240 kph I'm told.
The lad ho built it used it just as a track car. The engine does have a really nice engine torque output for a 1.3ltr. He also ran it on 17inch wheels.
I don't think that you can travel at 240 and 6000rpm
105 at 3000rpm is short....glanza and gt has longer top gear ratio....

C160 off the levin bzr I believe. 1st is short but the closer gears accelerate really fast and smooth.
So impressed with this little thing.
I've never known a vehicle of this erra use a close ratio box. Very modern technology.
Yes very impressive....what about high speed ratios?how many km/h with 3000 rpm and 6th gear?

Nice what kind of gearbox are you using?

I've just fitted my K1, JAM ecu, Zisco ram horn and road runner decat - hopefully going to be a fun little setup. Got a blitz dual sbc and reckon 1 bar should give some nice performance.
I have the k1 200v jam manifold blitz decat....hope to make something good

Think mine made 163bhp with that kind of setup.

Yeah I'm pretty sure I ran mine on the stock ECU for a while before upgrading to a Blitz ECU.
Not aware of hitting any fuel cut issues from memory, but then we've always ran her on the slightly conservative side in terms of boost etc.
Phil.
Thanks for info Phil
What horsepower will I expect at 0.7 to 0.8 bar?

You will still hit fuel cut on the stock ecu. Best bet is a blitz access ecu i have seen some made for AT transmission
I am trying to find one but I think it's impossible
Thanks for reply

^^^^agreed, i have the stock EFI hard pipe on my K1.
Phil.
Thanks Phil
Can the stock ecu support k1?
What other modification are necessary?

The inlet on the K1 has a slightly bigger intake. I doubt the hard pipe will slip on but try it anyways. Intercooler will be fine as it retains the stock turbo position and same fitment. Injectors will be fine. Max max 1.1 bar. I'd personally buy a short route FMIC and mount the blow off valve else where, plug and play ecu would also be a big help at this stage!
My biggest problem is ecu because of my ECY (automatic transmission)
Most of ecus blitz jam for example are designed for manuals

I am planning to install the blitz k1 turbo
Can I retain the stock efi pipe stock intercooler stock ecu stock stock injectors an stock blow off valve?
Ps want to run it 0.7-0.8 bar

The glanza non abs and brake booster from na starlets build between 1996 and 1997 are the same(OEM 44610-10370). If their is a true difference between abs and non abs boosters I do not know, they do have different OEM numbers. The internals of the master cylinder are also the same between glanza s/v and the na both for non abs and abs. The only parts that might be different is the reservoir since the glanza has rear disc brakes thus should require a bigger reservoir to feed the rear brakes (they do have a different oem number).
Another member might be able to clarify this.

I bought a pair of 98 spec glanza I there is enough space for the optional armrest
-
Is it capable fitting armrest in a 98spec starlet?
I mean is there enough space between the seats for the armrest?

Yes stock ct9...but I will rebuild my blitz k1 200v

After a long research finally I bought from yahoo auctions a manifold for my glanza. Its a rare Jam iron cast manifold...the big deal with a Jam manifold is that it looks like stock retains the heat shields flows much better than a stock one it has very good crack resistance and it hasn't any restrictions inside ports.....also it is tubular and the ports are larger than stock!

What s the differences between glanza v and starlet na (servo and brake master cylinder)
