cheers lads. haha i thought you would like the roller. Im using blackboard paint and its mega hard to get a decent finish, ive tryed thinning etc etc. but the roller seems to be the best (apart fom spraying, but i havent the equipment or money) why black board paint you may ask, i wanted it matt black and thought itd be cool to use blackboard paint so could draw all over it. hah. Pretty much standard at the moment, took the door cards off today, fitted my clear lenses too. im hoping the bonnet will be ok now, with a reasonable finish. god, i bet you all think im a right pikey using the ro

A weigh bridge? sorry, ive never heard of these where can i find one?
-
After taking off the cam cover i soon noticed 2 of my cams have chips along the edge of the lobe, going around 2mm onto the face. my question is, how 'easy' is it to replace a cam. im thinking the hard bit is actually compressing the valve springs in order to get the cam in possition. How would i time it up also? anyhelp appreciated. mitch

Im a first year multiskilled engineer for Coors breweries (they make coors light and carling etc for those that dont know)

ahhaaaaa very funny. . i cant find a specific figure for my model in weight. i read the sr was 830 kg, but do they come with full electrics etc? only to assume mine will be lighter. on the chassis plate there are 4 figures. Two which say 750kg,the other 1020kg and the other around 2200kg i want to know so i can guestimate the bhp p/t.

Ive tried to find the right thread. How much does my uk n/a 1998 3dr starbo weigh? it has no sun-roof and nothing electric(i.e. windows etc), ive stipped the back too, plus the wiper etc. cheers!
-
excellent, cheers rob. so would an fpr with standard injectors be beneficial? or a complete waste of time
-
what other mods?
-
i understand, would i need a 'mixture indicator' (forgot the proper name, wideband?) to set the rrfpr up? how sure are you that they will work correctly? also, noticable powergain from correctly setting them up? as i read somewhere that you didnt notice much difference? despite running lean
-
lean? wouldnt they be bigger? i thought itdbe rich if anything. How would a rrfpr sort this out? (just asking, not arguing )
-
Will i run into problems when i fit these? Will resetting the ecu sort itself out? Is there any confirmation on the glanza s injectors being different? can the standard ecu be remapped? baz
-
Not the whole engine etc. i just want the different parts.
-
Awsome lads, are the corolla manifolds easy to come by?
-
i thought it would be along those lines, anyone know whether a 'conversion' has been done on a uk n/a? or how? ;)
