BAZ2CRAZY replied to 200sx-Starlet-Jay's topic in EP91 Progress Blogs
Im loving the progress! nice mani cleanage and rocker cover top effort. Il be watching this space! -
Looking sweet i may consider taking my bump strips off. any tips? Also, what size tyres do you have on the speedlines? im trying to decide what size i want.
-
really? i thought the process of powder coating made the paint really strong? god knows, just guessing lol. To be honest i cant remember, i think it was around £25-35 per wheel. Thats with sorting out any buckles/chips etc etc and a bespoke colour/design. i havent Looked into it properly yet as i dont know what colour i even want!
-
thats a good idea, i tryed the other method (i couldnt fint he bloody mole grips), il try find the grips and give it another go, if not, l take them to a garage like you said A place i went to referb my last wheels, i think there in lichfield or loughborough or somthing... I cant remember to be honest (im shit at geography lol) there pretty good and its a woman that does all the work which i thinks pretty cool. i think i know what your implying... Do you spray or powder coat? bespoke colours etc?
-
are they! oh dear, i was going to take the springs off (for some reason) and to be honest, i couldnt do it. You have hold one part while undoing a nut,i just didnt have the tools any suggestions? Thanks lads, i would have have left them like that if you hadnt of said anything! edit : Paradas better than proxes? which wear faster?
-
cheers for the suggestions:) I may need some photoshopage doing to help me decide. Oh really? :| i thought they were the right way round? i havent moved the springs since i bought them.
-
looking good! Ive also got a little red starbo, i may find some inspiration in this build i hope the conversion goes ok bud. I may ask for some help in the future
-
I thought they might look a lil small, but i didnt want to compromise looks for feel/drivability. i dont mind bumps Il have a look at your build, (for the tyres in arches etc) I cant fault the T1r's imo, apart from they wear quite fast, i will have a look around for some others. Are paradas rated quite good?
-
hehehe MINE! Not liking the takata green? I still need to buy some tyres, struggling to decide what profile to go for on a 195 tyre, either 50's or 45's? (the spare has a 45) tyre recomandations? i can see my self going for T1r's again, but open to suggestions:)
-
cheers, the speedlines are standard dude:) i would like them done either in this colour; http://aycu30.webshots.com/image/48189/200...73364566_rs.jpg or http://i29.photobucket.com/albums/c261/jskiddo/te2.jpg

Ok, a bit of progress with the grannys shopping car. Heres some clear pics of the bonnet; Today, these arrived; If you plan on getting some, prepare to get anoyed fitting them. All done full beams about a meter away from garage (6000k) Picked these up the other day; Including a spare with a conti sport tyre. Im having them referbed in either Bronze or Takata Green... need help deciding. Not long ago i had fun fitting MB Quart discuss 4" components with crossovers. Tweeters Rear Brace Whiteline panhard rod Plenty more to come, 4efte in the future? m

-

Im not keen on the les paul, as it has a quite broad neck... and i have tiny hands ;) . so its kinda hard work. ooh, there heavy too. I have an mh-50 ESP and it has a slender neck so its easyer for me:) also well balanced, i was going to go for a jackson, but in the low range around £300, the main body wood was lighter than the neck(dont ask which wood, god knows) so it was unbalanced. Again like some of the guys above said, i wouldnt bother buying from a shop i hadnt heard of ;) been into a shop and played some different ones? Great fun! 'can i have a play of that £1000 sg ple

Thanks jay, thats certainly reassuring any way. Im glad it isnt the shocks(as i swapped them), i just find it abit odd, as its quite a considerable difference. i just hope the car hasnt had a shunt or somthing like that, which is causing it.
-
ok so. ive swapped the left for the right and the right for the left... and its still lower on the right! i dont get it, ive adjusted the panhard rod all over the place and it does nothing to the height, only moves the axle alignment. Any thoughts on why the right is higher?!? Mitch
-
FISHY89, INBOX FULL! TRIED TO PM YOU ABOUT (caps) importing wheels Mitch
-
the only thing i can thing of other than the rod is a fucked damper..
-
BUMP Just got the panhard rod, as the OSR was lower by about 10-20mm. adjusted it so it puller the axle toward the OSR,and it is still sitting the same height/s! help!
-
Quick one, ivebeen having problems with the rear OS being lower. so i bought a panhard rod, adjusted it so it pulls the axle toward the OS, Its now favoured to that side by about 10mm,and yet its still 10-20mm lower on that side... Its noticable driving too. need the car in the next few days.! help!!
-

Up early.. got to fit the panhard rod and sort the mani out. any one know the length i should i adjust it too with about a 40mm drop? i havent a clue how to fit it hope youve all had a nice day. i agree, they look immense in the bigger sizes. But you gotta admitt, some 15" te37's are going look a damn site better than those Wolfrace things people put on there hubs...lol
-
is that all there worth! blimey, i was expecting double that. Are te37's/ce28's worth that? as the ones on ebay go for alot more than 200-250
