  2. I didnt realise anyone said it was?

sorry dude, i thought ecksjay mentioned keighley trade centre, i apologise, was reading through quickly because i at work.

wrc sales bought torque of keighly yes

any who, people who go there or any where for that matter should just give the cars a real good look over before handing over cash, they have some bad ones and they have some good ones.

  3. thanks for the replay. going to have a go at it on friday. thanks again!!!!!!!! oh thought i let people know i the 1st guy to have the new yes new wepr/zep racing new td04 kit! from toy tuning. very nice bit. need to get it mapped. runing it on old map when i had a ct9 on was doing 185 at the fly and 154bhp at wheels. on standard injectors. but got 550cc ones to go in for when i get it done again. even on that map at 0.7bar it is much much faster. very plzed with it.

lucky git i'm still waiting for my fecking kit, delivery times are a pisstake

  4. wrc sales is not keighley trade centre contrary to popular beleif.

    but that said.

all cars still need a thorough look over, and some pics look nicer than they are in real life.

i bought my second gt from there and it was pretty rough but i knew that when i bought it and was happy to pay for it as it was what i wanted.

just go there with an open mind and be prepared to walk away from it

  5. excellent project mate.

on a side not though, those "fake autobahn" pics you have been given are not correct at all, i can garuntee you that it is wrong.

exedy clutches do have full cirlce rivets aswell.

the way to tell is that on autobahn clutches it does not have the "daikin clutch" logo stamped into the clutch plate, you cant tell from pics like that they need to be up close.

there is a lot of scare mongering going around at the moment.

i know as where i work we sell exedy clutches

  6. decided to clean the inlet manifold last night, my thumb and fingers hurt so much now, spent hours scrubbing that to get it clean, 15 years of crap

again not quite perfect, but it's the best its gonna get

  7. looks nice fella, i bought mine from wrc, and it also needed a lot of work doing.

i decided just to get the majour points resprayed, because i know if i were to do the whole car, i will park it up and some twat will scratch it or something.

so i got the roof and side skirts done, and got my wheels refurbished.

next i will do the bonnet but at the moment i'm rebuilding my engine. the majority of the car is fine with little bits hear and there, but it is like a 15 year old car now

  8. lil update, been a few weeks,

my original plan fell through so i have decided to rebuild mine.

decided to take the engine out ready to send to dave b.

the engine hoist, it's a hoist for lorry engines, so a little bit overkill, but it costs me nothing to use so cant complain lol

  9. it wasnt done in spite of the TDI rolling road day.

i dont come on here very often.

there was also only a few spaces on the tdi day aswell.

the reason this day was done was for my tuner to try and drum up some business in the starlet scene, he is already huge in the ford and mini scene, recently tuning mini worlds very own project car, and various racing teams use his dyno aswell.

so please get off you high horses, i was originally gonna come to the TDI day aswell but my car broke so couldnt make it. i only got to this rolling road day because a mate gave me a lift.

and before any dicks pop up and start blaming them, the reason my car is broken is nothing to do with my tuner, the headgasket went, so i replaced it, but it seems as though the block is warped

  10. right i think i've found the boost issues, at 4k onwards the timing has been retarded quite a bit, from standard levels,

i beleive the tuner done this because of the way the piping route used to go over the engine and manifold.

it was originally booked in for a retune tomorrow, but i'm having mega cooling issues now (see other thread) so i cancelled it, theres no point getting tuned when theres obviously something wrong.

so as soon as i have located the coolant problems, i will decide what direction i will be going for the future.

unfortunately i have spent to much to turn back now, so must carry on and spend that lil bit more lol

  11. i found out about it. i posted it up on tgtt.com, thats how montana and a couple of others (maybe not on this site) found out about it.

i see sam was selling them and wondered if i could get them cheaper.

sam wouldnt give the part number naturally, so i done some investigation work, and found that the starlet uses the same clutch (exactly) as the mk1 1.6L MR2 86 on non supercharged

i have one fitted in my car and its great, feels similar to standard with a touch more bite. it's not a heavy clutch though. and seems to handle 200 bhp well enough
