Just finished up the winter resto on my ep85! I've put alot of work into this thing again these past few months what do you guys think?

13.0 is my best so far till it started playing up last year I'm tempted to take a trip to santa pod at the weekend but will see how it goes

had the old beast on the road for a few days now upped the boost ever so slightly and with the changes to the box this thing has changed completely il get some vids up for you lot! It comes off the line like crazy now

Somehow I'd lined it up everytime I've had it apart previously without the gearbox dowels this time it didn't want to know easy fix couple of new dowels and jobs a gooden

Tell him to check the 2 dowels there's almost no clearance in the bell housings on these things must be lined up correct or it won't turn for shit

Ended up having the engine back out as it wouldn't start due to alignment issues! But on another note finally got to drive it yesterday not really put it through its paces yet but so far the box feels alot better being a little longer so well chuffed! Working away this week so will be getting a good clean up next weekend as it looks like a barn find atm haha

Tonight's time for a test drive again Went with a gt input shaft and gears with the gearbox rebuild the 4paw gears were 1 tooth less on each so will let ya all know how it compares to the old

Their all the same mate been talking with enzo who is basically an encyclopedia for the 4paws! I use It mainly for chasing times on the 1/4 mile so little changes help alot! That's handy to know cheers man if it come to it I'd have to import another 1 for spares I think

Yeah been talking to him recently bloke knows his stuff with these 4paws! His said to change 1st gear for a gt gear and do the yaris 5th to get up to 175mph lol box is coming out tomorrow and being sent in on Monday so full steam ahead

I've found them for nearly half that dan! I will give it ago bear with me haha

Looks possible that there is a lsd that fits for the rear diff on these 4paw will keep you lot updated on how it goes

Yeah I've been speaking to someone about them today that knows the ins and outs it's only worth changing 1st gear so that's what I will do!

Will it kill my rear diff or anything else! need advice ASAP looks like it's going in next week choice is stick with the 4paw internals or go with a ep82 gear set but really worried it may kill parts that are like rocking horse shit to find

Anyone got any kits for the gt? Don't mind if there a bit bashed up I like a little project toms/livesports/doobie etc I have a set of basically new rota slips I can do a deal with saves me selling them or cash I don't mind

Chop the ends of the shafts down a bit! The threads are massively long and pointless lol

I had to get rid of my last cusco 1 as it didn't fit with the sunroof in my in my 85 cars off the road for a while yet aswell

Is ep82 sunroof friendly?
