you guys are all right thanks for every thing rick i did what you said with the drill and no oil came out so since i couldcontact you i proceded to remove my engine from my car to get to the root of the problem after stripping the entire engine down i took a look at my second oil pump and realised it didnt have the grove for the rubber gasket on the pump body how ever the block i was using did. so here the run down you can get 2 types of pumps may sound crazy but its true and i have the pumps to prove it . 1 pump body has groove for rubber o ring 2 pump body has no grove and grove is on block

checked the timing and its fine the cams and leads to i have been told that its due to the new rings being so tight but that still dont explain the oil not pumping

no oil preasure gage yet but the light goes off

hey guys i just rebuilt my engine and procided to stat her up for the first time . starts up fine but after starting it up i noticed a few things she dosent idle like normal its almost like the engin is reving on its own also i noticed the turbo temp was rising quickly so i puled out the oit filter and it was bran new not a speck of oil dip stick indicate oil level is fine the engine idles really rough i really need some help on this guys

well could you still look to see if you could track down a set and at what price so we can compare and i think in the mean time ill just use regular 5e rods as i have seen it done and it works now i no what you all gonna say but ill try it none the less for the hell of it

IM in the little island of st lucia in the caribean how much do u want for the rods? i also think youve misunderstood my question because i did state that i cant afford the forged units and also the stock HE units are rear and most times expensive so would the 3e be a better soulution in this case

i have read through tones of info on doing the 5efte conversion. i have been told by rick and many others that the 5efe rods are a bad idea so in my quest to find a cost effective solution for the rods since i cant afford forged rods and cant seem to find stock 5efhe rods i found this http://www.tercelreference.com/tercel_info...e_info.html#top it says here that the 3e rods a better than the 5efe so what im asking is do you guys agree with this. cause i happen to have a 3e engine so am i better off using the 3e rods ?

there are 2 rubbers on both sides of the window the rubbers are on the door if you lift them there are about 6 clips which hold it down those are the clips that i want EP82
