  1. He said it was a stripped 106rallye with a GTI engine conversion. A standard gti engine is around 130bhp? I should think that a stripped 106rallye weighs no more than 800kg? So would prob be a good match with a Standard or slightly modded turbo starlet but it would no way have rinsed it, as others have said it must have been a 1.3n/a starlet.
  2. Sorry lol, i wrote 17's by accident, they are 16's. Still a bit too big in my taste! unless i can get some thinner tires on there and lower it more Thanks for the comments
  3. No its not kurbing Its yellow writing saying OZ Racing F1, or something like that ;)
  4. Im in Colchester, Essex. You near me? Yep, they are the ones chap. I may be selling them soon or willing to swap for a nice set of 15's (they are 16's)
  5. Hello Haven't been on here long and ive had the car a couple of weeks now! So i thought i would post some pictures: Its got 215 width tires on at the moment and the front scrubs quite a bit over bumps even though the suspension is very stiff! Can get full lock with no scrubbing though so im hoping some 205's will help this a bit! At the minute its lowered on damping adjustable shocks, HKS actuator and backbox. Also recently had a clifford G5 with turbo timer fitted. Ive got a HKS FCD, Sard RRFPR and WEPR 2.5inch turboback system coming for it at the moment. By the end of January i wil
  6. Out of interest you didn't buy your 106 off a chap called Steve Sebborn in Colchester, Essex did you?
  7. If anyone wants to know how then look at this link: http://www.toyotagtturbo.com/viewthread.php?tid=1127
  8. Recently purchased a Sard RRFPR with the toyota adapter. Everything that came with it is in Japenese so i don't quite understand it! Anyone want to write a guide to fit/set one up or have a link to a guide? What would you adjust it to run 1bar of boost? I know each car is invidual but i just want to know roughly ;) Thanks!
  9. Done now ;) About 1/2 a litre came out Thanks again
  10. I changed my gearbox oil yesterday, drained it with the 24mm bolt on the bottom of the box, and filled it through the 17mm bolt in the top of the box. I put in 3 litres. Today when i was under the car i noticed another 24mm bolt in the box, sort of towards the front of the car on the side of the box. Is this the fill level bolt??? Should i park the car on the flat and take that bolt out to let the excess drain? I dont want to have overfilled it and fucked seals etc Thanks ;)
  11. What heat range ngk iridiums do the cars use standard? What heat range plugs would you recomend on a ep82 running around 13psi? Will heatrange 7 be alright? Thanks for your help

  14. Simple solution - Rolling road it then if there is a problem with the plots look further into what could be causing the probs, may just be in your head.
  15. Alright thanks lads! Any reccomendations on what pads and disks to upgrade to?
  16. What kind of aftermarket ECU's are just plug and play then? Do you just predefine a AFR then and it maps itself? rough price? (i will probably cry when i see the price) I kind of realised it wasnt safe to keep on hitting the fuel cut as it must make the car run lean for that little period of time? cheers for the help
  17. Simon - im looking for around 180 at the flywheel Jaystar - Im pretty new to starlets and dont have much idea of what the OEM fuel system is capable of? Is it not just a case of remapping/piggyback (apexi)? OR will bigger injectors/fuel pump be needed? I was thinking of being a bit cheap and using a RRFPR and setting it up using wideband but would this work with the rest of the fuel system being stock?
  18. I have tried searching the net but cant find anyone that sells Greddy BCC or Jam BCC for the EP82 starlet. Anyone know somewhere? Also why is the reason it cuts boost? Is it because the car cannot fuel enough for over 14psi so the ecu stops it? or if a BCC is fitted will the ecu be able to fuel enough for the car to not run lean at 14-15psi? (becuase with a BCC the ecu will try and fuel for the correct boost, wont it? Whereas with an FCD the ecu is tricked and will fuel for a lower boost causing it to run lean) Im new to starlets so sorry for the stupid questions
  19. Hi im new, i have a CRX Vtec and soon to own a EP82 GT turbo. I have had a good search on your forum and have found some very useful info with regards to FMIC and exhausts Im just wondering are there any brakes off another toyota or other car that are a direct replacement for the EP82 brakes but bigger? Will the master cylinder need upgrading? Just thought i would enlighten you on my plans for the car : Fully stripped including any sound deadening WERP 2.5inch turbo back system FMIC Either piggyback ecu or Boost cut controller Bigger brakes Smaller wheels (has 16's atm) Small shot of ni
