OK so it hasnt been washed in over 7 months now, so being that it was a nice day and the bucket and sponge was already out for me, I finally washed the car
-
Thanks mate, TBH its not as quick as my old starlet, It has more power that is crazy when it kicks in but way to much lag
-
Ok so the car is running now and I've had my first problem Earlier today when i accelerated it kept cutting out after a few seconds, Thought it was the tank so i filled it up and it was fine, looks like i need a surge tank or dont let it drop below 1/2 way Been driving it quite a bit trying to get use to it, extremly difficult to control, im pretty sure it was a Drag starlet due to the size of the turbo the only chassis mods it has is coilovers which are rock solid and it not running a DV, absolutly insane amounts of grip wont spin in any gear but it hardly spools untill the end of 2nd  torque steer is insane its hard to keep the back end in line (Snow tyres dont help ) Anyway i am going for a Dyno at Triton Motorsport in bournemouth on 3rd of may which is a saturday, not sure on the time yet but will put it up when i do but if anyone wants to comedown or go on the Dyno they are more than welcome

Not long to go now, I've managed to sort out the gasket problem, Fitted one from a omega with a bit of modding  got the Plate and tyres on the way atm then on the road sometime nextweek ;) Also did a DB test with a meter it hit 92DB @4.5 with the ECV and 101.5 Without so good thing it has the ECV or no tracktime for me

Yep its a road runner mani mate

Cal: So you like it cal lol idrees: yeah i did have a few problems importing it, Eckjay: I dont want to name the company where they can view it, lets just say i had a few problems, if you really wana know i will pm you, where did you see it advertised? yeah i will get the new tyres on soon, I've now ot the reg docs its so annoying as i dont have a gasket for the manifold yet so its off the road till they actually find the corect one, sooooooo frustrating, Thanks for the comments guys

Thanks Guys will be sad to see it go when i get it back together, Those pics were taken at the back of hurn airport in Bournemouth. Yeah that other turbo is big its only a TD05H 16g but because its a R version which is the other way round it looks so big its also twin scroll, would be a good turbo for someone after 300+ bhp

Thanks Sparky, hopefully you will see me at JF just about to get some track time

Yeah i try and make it to all the ones i can, But i havnt been to a meet for about 6months now Just got a ticket to Japfest need to find some track time now so if anyone knows of any going let me know

Thanks Phil, dont worry i will update them, Yeah i suppose it is a bit greedy but the matt black one is in peices atm and hasnt run for about 3months, im in the middle of building it back up with a TD04 Kit so i can sell it as i dont need both and i could do with the money. Yep i know the tokyo starlet needs a clean it hasnt had one in six months when it left japan I've been busy sorting out the manifold putting on some TRD mount, Oil catch Can and a Cambelt Kit and most annoying thing trying to get the thing registered so i can drive it, Can you imagine what its like having a new car and only driving it once in 6months? Drives me mental

Hi guys, been looking through the site for a while but never actually joined up till now, Anyway I've put my starlets up in the rides sections. Ok so here is NO.2 Starlet Pics from Japan and sat at the docs in tokyo The apparent specs are: 5E APEX POWER FC H.R.F V300 turbine Kit Turbine TRUST TD05-16G Injector 600cc Racing Fuel Pump Hi-Profile Camshaft in 272 / ex 272 Racing Intercooler Greddy Oil Cooler kit Greddy relocation Kit Boost Controller Racing Wastegate SARD Stainless Exhaust Manifold Muffler Height Adjustable Suspension GAB LSD TRD 2WAY Interior Gauges Boost Exhaust temp A/F Oversized forged piston Connecting rod Engine head full modified Blow off valve APEX ECV boost selectable 1.0kg, 1.3kg, 1.5kg MAX 1.8kg So i currently have a 270bhp ep82 so i know what they are like but this thing is just crazy it seems to be on full boost at around 4ish@1.2 which seems faster than my current starlet but then it hits around 6k and it takes off to 1.8bar I've never experienced so much power, The power was quoted at 250bhp but Id say its way over that, Who knows have to get it down the dyno. Upon inspecting the car I've found that some of the parts are correct but it isnt a 5E its still a 4E and the turbo isnt a TRUST TD05-16G BUT A TRUST TD05-18G with a little bit of mesh over the mouth, its massive in fact to big Ok so here are the uk pix, it hasnt been washed in 5 months, there are a few things to sort out but it still looks ok Anyone guess what this is? Then i came across a litle problem Had the MOT done went through no probs, but noticed a problem spooling up, checked it out and found this Hmm i guess its in need of a tougher gasket So im still trying to find out the exact specs I've just found out its actually a H.R.F car Turbo: my supposed 16G which is actually an 18G Apex ECV GReddy Filter Relocation Kit GAB Coilovers Sard WG Stickers that might give something away And thats project NO.2 unfortunatly its not on the road yet as im still sorting out the docs

Hi guys im kinda new to the site been looking through here for ages just never signed up, so thought now i have i should get project NO.1 on display and this is what it looked like after i striped it out the first rolling road figures and the current power figures, should be a little more now as its running at 22.8psi here is the very dissapointing 1/4time with the syncros gone SPEC Engine: TD04 Kit Pauter Rods Ross Pistons Greddy Emanage Blue ProfecB spec 2 ebc Lightened Crank Pulley 1.45mm Metal Head Gasket 2.5" Full Custom Exhaust Induction Kit on turbo turbosmart dumpvalve exedy paddle clutch HKS Actuator FSE Fuel Regulator Walbro Uprated Fuel Pump Mazda 330cc Injectors Universal FMIC Intercooler Smaller Civic Radiator Toyota LSD 8.5mm Spark Leads NGK Iridium Range 9 Chassis: Whiteline 24mm front ARB Whiteline Adjustable Rear ARB Whiteline panhard rod Whiteline Antiift Cusco lower arm bar Toyota rear Strut brace Think thats about it, i started striping out the front and getting rid of all the un-needed wires as it pretty crazy under ther but it should make it easier in the long run and save a bit of weight about 1/2 of the wires the rest are stil on there I've probally managed to loose about 20kg which is pretty good way of gaining power without spending money Managed to get my front ARB fitted made a big diffrence, takes corners so much better now, would recomend this to all starlet owners and it only took 15mins to fit unlike the antilift managed to get the anti-lift kit sorted Then i got the panhard rod on and adjusted I then got an FC, Zep kit and Quaiffe Diff but unfortunatly had to sell them wish i still had the FC as i need a commander now Few more pics Then i decided to change the setup swapped my TD04L kit for a monster TD05HR which is the turbo used ont the evo7-8 FQ360 unfortunatly I've now decided that i preffer the TD04 route as i already have a TD05 starlet As you can see its not the smartest starlet in the world but its definatly a sleeper, any questions welcome.
