    right ok, today i have cleaned the airbox out and changed the filter to a new HKS panel filter. carb cleaned the throttle body and everything else that could be cleaned has been. the idle is alot better but it is still a bit up and down. anymore suggestions?

    it stays on 1200 rpm all the time, even after warm up. i didnt say they had carberetters, i was just asking if the cleaner would be ok to use.

    hi all, got a Starlet SR and it seems to idol alittle high than other cars ive had, is this normal? the revometer needle sits just above 1000 revs. can anybody help? cheers, laurence P.S will carb cleaner help?

    can not believe it, i was going to buy this starlet before i got my SR. wicked motor and well tidy mate. good base for a tidy project. you got a nice one there mate, how much did he sell it for in the end? if you don't mind me asking. Also, definately keep the wheels original colour!!!!

    Hello, new member here, i have been on here before, about a year ago when i had my EP82. since then i have owned a Celica GT ST202 then down graided to the lowest of lows, A SHITROEN SAXO!!!! Now i have returned to the mother land and bought a Starlet SR that needs work, but i don't care because i love them. ;)
