  1. i just had a go at this and worked it out... u need a tiiiiny flat electrical type screw driver, wedge it between the inner and outter part of the "screw" head and pop the middle part out a couple of MM, then just pull em out. and u can then reuse em afterwards too! (unfortunatly i mullered some before i worked this out lol)

  8. the only thing i would add to this, is after your last coat of primer (i assume its grey) give it a quick "dusting" in mat black or any other apposing colour, then with your block use a 1000 grit and go over any flat surfaces till the dust coat disapears, this ensures you have no high or low spots. also words to live by when prepping " IF YOU CAN FEEL IT WITH YOUR HAND, YOU WILL SEE IT WITH YOUR EYE WHEN ITS PAINTED!" hth ;)
  9. hi there. i would recomend maguires plastix.its great on light scuffs and discoloring on lenses. rub down the affected area with some 1000 grit paper, if its not working, start with a 320 grit, then work your way up 320 - 500 - 800 - 1000 overlapping the area each time. then the plastix should polish it up a treat. it will take alot of elbow grease to polish it up, but it will be worth it. alternativly you could use a machine polisher... IF your carefull. HTH ;)
  10. aww cheers peeps!! yeah i guess it was a blessing in disguise. but we shall see. i will get some pics up ASAP. but at the moment its sat outside work waiting for my parts from TT to arrive so i can get it MOTed then taxed and on the road. its a little tatty but i got it cheap so i cant complain, and working in a body shop helps too. so big plans for my little car ;) watch this space
