Thanks for the info guys.
I havent actually got the filter on the front of the car yet. Just trying to work out what bits I need to mount it there. (custome made mani for TD04 + not very wise fabricator = not much room)
Thought I would ask before I finally get there.
be fine mate just try avoid getting it wetAs long as you don't purposely spray it with the hose, I'm sure it will be fine ;-)I think it would be hard to avoid getting it wet when I need to wash the front bumper. (photo shows filter temp in place still need pipework)

For those of you who has the air filter right behind your bumper or grill.
How do you wash your car? Do you need to put a plastic bag over the filter as you hose your car down? surely it's not heathy to get your filter wet.

Thanks for the link. might have to spend more money it looks like. was hoping to spend about £60-70 tops but at lease it's free shipping.
Anymore places I can try?

Theres a company on ebay called Aoshima that make EP71 models
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Aoshima-DISM-752...=item4aaeb23ec3
may be worth trying to get in touch to enquite about EP82 & EP91 ones?
Aoshima is a massive 'scaled car' company in japan. one of the giants along with Tamiya and Fujimi.
Most of my kits are infact from aoshima as they do most of the D1 Drift series and personally, I think they are as good as tamiya if not better with their actual metal spring coil suspensions instead of pastic moulds
To be honest, if they havent covered a car, I dont think they will bother as there wasnt enough request at the first place. They do do alot of cars which is based as everyday cars in japan which tamiya havent bothered, so they would of done a starlet if it was more popular back then.
But if you can get them to do it then I will prob buy 3-4 of this kits

unfortunatly I dont have that spare. got to get a few more things together first and I wont need them for a long time yet as my car is still off road.
Mine where crap on mine wouldn't fold down, decided to make new 1s. When I took them apart they where made of ducktape sponge and metal wire lolLOL

Just a quick question, is it normal for these to break? I dont think mine has ever worked. I cannot fold the things down, seems like the clip has snapped inside. did a quick search but cant find anything

Hi all
Just got a front bumper from a member on here and I am going to start prepping it tomorrow, I am hoping to maybe get it sprayed up by tomorrow night as I only need to rub it down a little.
Anyway. Can someone tell me which rattle can - satin black, I can get?
I read on the civic forum the other day that someone did their wheels with Hammerite and that ended up satin black and looked good.
What do you think about Hammerite??? or is this not a good idea for front bumper?
Also, 1 other question.... Do I use normal primer for fibreglass or plastic primer? going to spray up my rear spats which is gel coated fibreglass.

Nice!!! cheers Matt, looks like my brothers Xmas pressie is sorted then

SWEEEEET, that looks good and fits my budget. but how trusted is the website/conpany? and has anyone used these kits before?
-
Just wondering where do you guys think it's the best place to buy HID kits which doesnt cost over £100.
I know HIDS4U is trusted but thats kinda out my price range.
I am buying these for my brother as a christmas pressent and my budget is no more than £70.
He said the saw loads on ebay for £40 but I dont really want to buy him any old cheap kit in case it blows after a week or catches on fire or something.
I have a really good set in my civic for £70 but that shop is now closed.
so can anyone suggest where I should buy from as there is sooooo many places which sells them.
It's H4's by the way. if it's good then I might get a spare set for my GT

I thought about thinners but thought it might be abit strong on the plastic.
I will try T-cut if not then wet and sand with 2000 grit.
I just thought as I have a spare set, I will try to put them into use. saving me buy another set
never thought about nail varnish remover......interesting
-
Just wondering if you can do this without damaging the lens. I tinted my spare set of indicators YEARS ago and want to remove the black and apply a Orange vinyl to see what it looks like.
Did it on photoshop and it looks Cool. going for the JDM EG civic look
-
Cool Thanks. I will get on it when I get my GT back on the road
-
oh OK. do you know what kind of bung I need like size?
-
What? Just leave it plugged in and don't touch the stalk..
Yeah, I forgot to ask about leakage. so if I just undo the bolt and lift the arm off, I can leave everything as it is without water getting in?
-
typed it in search but found nothing.
so how hard is it to remove the wiper arm?
-
