  5. Hi Damian A very warm welcome to UK Starlet Club You've come to the right place for all things Starlet related. You'll also be sure to make some new friends here bro. Congrats on being a new owner of V Power ;) Just want to say that you have done a very nice job adding the Teins and Rims to your Glanza, she looks spot on now and I bet she handles well too. Also well done on getting the Evo 7 Recaros. I have the exact same seats altho mine are allegedly out of an Evo 8 Mine have the Evo frames modified to fit the EP91, they could do with a good re-weld but they are holding fine at the minute and sturdy. Here is when I first got the seats in, they made an excellent difference to my cars styling as well as driving benefits. They are so worth getting although I have seen a few other people owning them too, but in this day and age who cares long as you like em and they do their job! Evo Seats After Installation Here are the latest pics of my ride (scroll down) with more to come in time. Latest Pics Latest Pics 2 I hope that you enjoy the site and feel free to become a part of things here, you're very welcome. Take care on the road and enjoy your car to the max!!! J o z
  6. Nice work guys Ive been dying for a set lol Can you go any smaller than 12x6 and be legal? Joz
  7. Glad that you can feel the benefits of the corolla manifold Mark. Let us know how you get on once you get the motec properly setup. Will be very interesting to hear your results. Joz
  8. Isn't he a gorilla?? lol Rear looks far cleaner now the stickers have been removed bro. Some nice rear lenses would do the trick really well. I know your still lost in translations so I won't recommend too many things to you lol. Well done for attending your first meet and representing uksc. peace bro Joz
  9. Congrats on the sale Bourkey Now you can fully concentrate on the Stealth SR ;) Just careful of those benches! Joz
  10. The dubman hath spoketh ;) Joz
  11. I held back lol But I will get one, once there is a decent price drop and more sexy titles. Joz
  12. Its true man. At least we can be proud of how far we have both already gotten, with plenty more to come Joz
  13. Have to agree with Kelly there. Don't sell your lovely car just because its uncomfortable. Change your suspension and see how you get on You'd also get a good price for the d2s if you sold them to put towards other mods, but keep them just in case you want the better handling/lowering again. Coilovers were never meant for comfort Im on rock hard coilovers and I love it ;) Joz
  14. Listen to this man too lol If you want something unique and have the moolah and imagination you could make a storming n/a, dont get me wrong because I love glanzas but there are quite a few of them about, and I know that your a person who wants something unique, but the performance gains would be unreal with a glanza, like some people say, the difference between night and day. With the n/a there is a limit that you can reach without changing engines and there is too much work involved with making it something really special whereas with a glanza its turn the key and your off, with all the accessories included although you'll have to spent quite a bit of money on it too to make it truly yours. It seems insurance might be quite high for you if you are already paying so much for the n/a but hopefully things improve when you get another years ncb. Somebody has to realistically represent the na ep scene so why not me & Phil lol ;) Joz
  15. You'll be so much better off in the long run in all areas besides the pocket haha I mean I would go for the 4efte conversion if I wasnt such an honest guy lol Once its all said and done, you'll be beaming mate! Joz
  16. Voted Just want to say that getting a glanza wont be the end of all your problems and it won't make you the new kid on the block However if thats what you want at the end of the day, I say save for it and get a glanza fund going starting next week and get a decent one. Keep bacon as a daily driver for the meantime and don't mod him any more. You'll be bored as hell and go all stale and crusty but all that money you save will get you a decent car next year. Don't forget that you'll have to find a buyer for your old car as well, he seems quite hard to shift don't you think? Its good that you're not too far into it, you havent spent a load of money to the point of no return, so you still have a choice hence your poll. Also don't forget to do your research and see how much you'll have to pay for insurance etc, I could buy a glanza next week for instance, its the insurance thats the killer for young people. I'll still look into a quote tho Maybe a sweet GT would be a little more affordable? You won't get to the level you are looking for with bacon unless you put a lot more into it and make a few sacrifices. I have to admit I want a glanza as well unsurprisingly, but Im making do with what I have and hopefully moving on to bigger things in a year or two, maybe glanza, maybe something else... I would keep starletto as a track/mentalist car, but would sell if the price was right (he is a bit hardcore for some) My 2p ;) All the best with your decision Snapster. Joz
  17. Cool Kelly lol Thanks for sharing with us. Joz
  18. Thats good to hear Geo mate. Now you realise how justifiable coilovers are haha when you have your own set ;) Joz
  19. They are so scarce, I only know of three owners/cars with them on. You would need one in your hands to copy first. Joz
  20. This is a good section to check out if you're interested in front splitters > Splitters You can pretty much modify any front splitter to fit, your limit is your imagination. There was only one direct fit front splitter made for the ep91 na bumper and that is the tte splitter, its basically impossible to get so I would think of another type Here is the tte splitter as modelled by the nanglewagon and shell's bro's SR There have since been a series of other front splitters not shown in that thread that people have had on their cars. Some custom and some from other cars. Here's mine - Honda Civic Style Idree's custom special - I forgot to ask, what size piping is your exhaust ;)? Hope this helps. 25. Welcome back man! Lots of photos there. Its great that you are enthusiastic again with your starlet. Some nice repair work going as well. I also reckon a nice front splitter will look fantastic. JSPLs look really tasty also Please keep up the good work, we're looking forward to your next update. How is the performance now that your exhaust system is completely straight through? Your car has lots of potential Joz
