  1. I took the car for a spin the other day. Was ever so slightly missing when i put my foot down and then after about 5 mins, after exiting a roundabout i give it some juice again, it started to accelerate nicely then at about 4-5k rpm the engine seemed to die, then pick back up, then die again. Engine management light came on and then i decided it was time to take her home. Havent been out in it since as im quite low on fuel too. When i put my HKS SSQV on i accidently snapped the old BOV plate off the pipe. I glued that back on and it doesnt seem to leak. Ive now taken the HKS off and sold it. Only other things ive done is Install my HID kit and a new headunit. I put it in the engine section as im not sure if its mechanical or electrical. Someone in work said it may be my battery ? . It did run flat after listening to the radio for 10 mins without the car running the other day but after a bump start and an idle for 10 mins, It all starts fine again, and did again today so im not sure. Engine mods as far as i know are only MOMO Oil filter TRD Air Filter Fujitsubo Exhaust Ultra Power Leads Denso iridium plugs (Actuator is not adjustable and a kind of gold colour, Original i think) I havent managed to get my boost guage setup yet to see what boost i have but i dont think its anything different than stock. I surely cant be hitting fuel cut with only these mods ? And is fuel cut a persistent problem or does it only happen on the odd occasion ? Thanks in advance guys.
  2. Looks nice mate .. Cant wait to see the TDO4 on there
  3. Yea i dont really wanna spend that much dosh on such a basic(ish) item. The best idea ive heard so far is to get universal rails then however possible detach the 4 mountin points off some old original starlet seats then get em welded on. Shouldnt cost too much. Especially if you know some 1 whos good at welding Im a fitter and could do it myself but im lazy(like most fitters) and would much rather some1 else do a nice job on em. Still no reply from corbeau
  4. Thanks mate .. Got my kit from Ebay. £85 Delivered and it is the high low beam H4 kit too. Bargain in my eyes mate
  5. My targa's seem to fit.. Ive outed the drivers seat and placed it in and all seems ok.. Not too much width on em
  6. Sweet Glanza and welcome to our mad world
  7. My Targa's are about 7 years old and have all kinds of animals living in them at the minute lol.. but as soon as the rails are sorted a good Valet and they will be back upto scratch
  8. HID kit was simple to install.. 2 Earth wires (1 for each bulb) and a power str8 to the battery. Then Plug the female bulb socket into any 1 of your original bulb plugs. Hardest part was mounting the ballast etc. Ahh i see.. It dont look nothing special that EP82 to be honest. Could well be him tho. Yes im not fussed on the wheels myself either.. I want a set of Inovit STVI in white. So thats another thing on the endless list. Not long.. Driving test wednesday 1st october.. Fingers/legs and nuts crossed for me peeps
  9. Well as some of you may know im desperate to get my Corbeau Targa's in the car but wanna avoid hacking/butchering my original seats. And because im such a lazy bastard i dont wanna be messing about making brackets/welding etc. So first port of call was the Official Corbeau Website for a quick browse.. And i found this. STARLETD642TD643T They are on the list of "Master Brackets". Ive sent em a message so fingers crossed.. Ill let you know what they say. If anything.
  10. What is it with Glanza's and Malta. Almost every beautiful Glanza is from malta Very nice mate.. Love what you did with the bride Door cards too.. Awesome !
  11. Yea deffo up for that mate.. Been seein a white EP82 around recently.. Any ideas who's that is ? Dont think they are on here.
  12. Heres a quick glimpse of how my car currently sits .. Dragstyle ! haha And after id attempted to straighten out the exhaust (looks like the old driver in japan reversed over a raised kerb, it was a flat but managed to round it a lil)
  13. Thanks for the input guys.. Yea i was thinking of just leaving the Glanza Stickers on it too. So hairdryer on the starlet sticker it is. I was thinking either white or sliver stickers for the rear quarter. Im hoping to get some white alloys next month maybe. In the immortal words of star trek "make it so"
  14. The 1 side is fine but the other it has actually marked/indented the paint so no amount of buffing/polishing etc will get rid of it And the Back starlet 1 isnt in mint condition.. Still leave em there ya think ?
  15. Right ive got a bit of a dilemma. The Glanza Stickers were removed from under the rear windows by the owner in Japan. The 1 side it has left a kind of imprint in the actual paintwork. My dilemma is, Do i leave it and eventually get the paintworks sorted or do i get some stickers (original Glanza 1's) ? Im undecided what will look better. Totally Fresh and clean from stickers or not. If no stickers then whats the best method for removing the 1's on the back ? Hot soapy water didnt help so maybe a gentle bit of hairdryer ? Remember, Your helping the way my car looks so your input is much appreciated And will also give you satisfaction that youve helped style my car too Thanks all.
  16. Give Lifesure a ring.. They quoted me half what anyone else quoted..
  17. lol.. my photoshop skills leave a lot to be desired
  18. To give you an idea.. heres the 1 im using at the minute.
  19. Read the thread properly hahahaha.. Yea looked much easier so fingers crossed. Seems my coilys are no longer produced Quite entertaining talking to the japanese lady from Tein
  20. Bit fudgin late now hehe.. nah your more than welcome to come help me do the rear's.. Altho im not messing around with em until i get down to osaka and pick up my tein C spanners. Looks soo sweet slammed on the front tho.. oof..
  21. Would some of the marks etc be on the inside you think ? if so the actual lenses are bonded onto the main headlight unit right ? So not worth opening up.
  22. Cheers for that ecks.. 2nd bit of decent info ive had all day about this.. Thanks to u to Cl mate.. I thought it would be right = hard etc.. Its probably the same on all.. What do you have yours set at ? ive heard 12 is a good setting for street.
  23. Hi all. Looking for a nice Toyota/Glanza/UKSC themed background picture to upload onto my new headunit as a background. Only Requirements are that it be 1000x480.. And you will have the pleasure of knowing your design will be looked at by me everytime i drive Thanks in advance.. Let the creativity flow Dale
  24. After speaking to dave burwash and getting a much clearer picture of what i had to do i finally did it.. Probably to low now but ive had enough for today. C spanners are gonna be here friday so i can do it all properly then. I see that my coilys are 16 way damper adjustable.. Is it click to the right for harder click left softer ?
  25. Right so ive investigated and ive cocked about with the 1 side and ive cocked it up completely by the seems of things lol.. They Are Tein Type HA. But do not have pillow ball mounts. Ive WD-40'd the whole thread and cleaned it up then loosened both buttom nuts.. Then wound 1 down (that holds the spring in place) and it seems to have made no difference (maybe even higher) than it was. So i went the opposite way and it is much higher.. Any help would be great.. I think, looking at it that i need to remove the complete unit and then adjust the top down to compensate.. This sound right ? Thanks guys EDIT: Ive just spoken to a guy from TEIN and he says that both bottom nuts need to be turned together. Could anyone elaborate on this further.. Sorry for being a complete dumbass
