LOL.. i couldnt believe it when he said £20.. .. they retail for at least £500 new those seats. Any tips on cleaning em ? mine is quite dusty too, car it came out of has been up for sale long before i bought mine.. And ive just solved my orig re-circ problem.. ive blocked it all up and blocked up the EFI pipe hole with a top off a coke zero hahaha.. nice chatter for me now hehe. Ill post pics 2moro in the light so u can all have a giggle at my improvisation

sweet pav mate why the hell does mine fuel cut? im only around .8 bar 12 psi grr.. im with u on a new ECU.. Not sure what to do, emanage or standalone .. Keep us posted brother

I know but he wanted another drivers seat in exchange.. any 1 got 1 spare ? hehe
-
There was another bride seat with rail there i could hav had too.. same price, this 1 had a greay centre piece but was dirtier.. suppose it could have been cleaned up.. was nice too.. Yea im gonna hav to invest in an adjustable 1.. what types/makes are adjustable ? i know the HKS i had wasnt.

Cheers guys.. heres a better pic in daylight.. still camera phone crappynes Could do with a nice clean up and a lil bit of the stitching coming undone but for £20 its a steal As for the Re-circ its the original so i cant put a new spring in. May try without a re-circ but not sure what pipes to block etc and how to block em. ITs soo annoying tho driving thru residential area's over speed bumps and everytime i take my foot off the accelerator *Whoosh*.. its kind of embarrasing lol.

Nice lookin V mate.. i quite like those wheels

Sadly the pics dont do it justice so will get a fresh 1 up 2moro morning/afternoon Well happy.. 1 of the comfiest seats ive sat in I also bought a standard re-circ as i thought mine was naffed but i dont think it is. Problem im getting is that it seems to let off pressure to easy.. Ive heard people say the baileys dump valves open when your cruising down the motorway at 70ish. Well mine does the same, its so damn annoying. When i first had the car it was a nice lil whoosh at high boost but now, even with the new(2nd hand) 1 on it still dumps far to easy. Is there another problem somewhe

Hello all.. quick update.. after talking to a few of the lads at our lil meet im gonna leave the fuel cut as it is for now and save up to get an Emanage or something so that im ready for any future upgrades i do.. Probably after xmas now. Still need to put my new actuator on so if any kind soul would like to help ill gladly pay in beer or other acceptable currency .. I could do it on my own but would rather someone with experience of doing it make sure its done right. And on another positive note im just about to go pick up a bride bucket with rail for £20 + my current drivers seat

Well i was told by the guy i bought my car off in southampton that the best imports usually stay in the south.. Seems heres some actual proof.. Good work on finding out all the details tho.. Nothing worse than being ripped off by some scumbag. Further proof that you should always take time to investigate your car before buying.. i checked the mot link from TGTT that he gave and thankfully mine came up good.. might be worth everyone who gets a new import checkin out the MOT thing. Better to be safe than sorry -
Woohoo.. i was worried i was gonna miss it as im working nites 2nite and 2moro. Aint been around for a while as the old dear forgot to pay the internet bill .. so im on my fone at the minute which is shit. But im still deffo coming. Hell of a crowd we got here. And im selling my corbeau Targa seats. £250 for the pair (almost half price) no rails tho. Im skint and will probably never get round to getting rails made up etc so they hav to go. Let me know and ill bring some pics down on my fone for you 2moro. Ill also give em a good clean. 1 very small faghole in 1 seat and thats it.

Yep it is fuelcut.. Got a new guage and hitting bout 12psi boost which is about .82 bar. Today ive ordered a Adjustable actuator and a RRFPR to go on with my Jam FCD ;) Hopefully all should be good again.
-
lol.. So fogs and grille are different ? and brackets ? grr.. i may just leave it for now as i cant afford £175 to get it resprayed as i need to get this fuelcut sorted first.. Yea i was skint 1 day so i put in normal UL.. Another thing my car smells.. exhaust gas wise i mean. Nothing bad i doubt, maybe something to do with fuelcut and or Unleaded petrol etc. I will be using Super expensive unleaded from now on tho ;) .. almost put v-power in the other day 117.9p a litre hahaha cheers guys
-
Do the 98 bumpers fit straight on ? Or do any of you lot know a good cheapish bodyshop around who can do it ? Yea its hit n miss with the fuel cut sometimes.. Seems to do it more often when i put normal unleaded in, would that make a difference ? I enjoyed it a bit 2nite. It was running quite sweet today now ive filled it to the brim with super ;). Strange things cars... gotta love em

Sweet ;) .. Had some mixed things happen this weekend. Car started enjoying fuelcut was the beginning of the bad things, I bought a new boost guage from halfords to check my boost and im at about 11/12 psi which is a bit high and thats why im getting fuelcut. Strange how i havent even touched the boost apart from bypassing the hi/lo solenoid. The omori guage i had of Harrison seems to be broken or something as the new guage works perfectly with the same pipe i had. The omori guage just seemed to settle wherever it wanted to, rather than where it should. Whereas the Halfords 1 is - psi then g

Sweet looks like we got a fair few already ;)

Is it just a simple matter of pulling out the fuse then putting it back in ? How will i know its reset ? Cheers D
-
yea that should be good for me too ;) If im correct im working mornings so will be home from work bout 7 then able to come back out. SooperD (Abercarn, Nearish newport)

Cheers for that jay.. I remember reading somewhere that colder air makes it more likely to hit fuel cut so perhaps thats it. The big question is now, Do i fit my Jam FCD ? Or do i need to get it RR'd first to see how things stand ? Cheers. P.S. On a side note i think i may still have a leak somewhere as the guage starts to build up when i accelerate then drops down again before picking up as i give it more throttle. Still doesnt come close to reading the correct bar/psi. But havent been able to look at it at full boost as im too busy concentrating on the next thing on the road lol.

Dont think u can get em from toyota. Ive also seen the ebay 1's. They from germany or somewhere right ? Hav been tempted but not got any yet.. A rare but essential part IMO.. Cant open the window even a crack in the rain without getting the whole side ofthe door soaking wet ..
