  1. Dont worry about the steering wheel mate all eps from 98-99 came with them and im pretty sure all glanzas 98-99 came with passenger air bags (although i have seen a few 97 spec ones with the passenger airbag) aswell as the obvsious facelift. for a rough idea on what they look like heres a beaut of a 99 model (last few that rolled off the line) http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/1999-Toyota-Starlet-...%3A1|240%3A1318

  7. Ok mate, Black circle is the sensor Black lines are vacumes (check they are attached to the inlet mani) Red circle is where you adjust the idle....do this with a warm engine with everything off like lights,cd player, heaters etc
  8. if so ^ check the maf sensor one and the fuel rail one
  9. When was it last serviced? condition of the plugs? could be leads, dizzy, rotor arm or even just a rubbish earth.
  10. Mate, the mani makes the car SO much more driveable on the motorway....on the M62 there are loads of "hills" as it where when i first got the EP it really struggled to build up speed would go dead at 65-70ish with my foot fully planted.....now with the mani + k+n panel + adv ignition timing its a TOTALLY different car...goes like the shit from 60-80 i get really weird looks off other drivers at how fast it builds up speed for a car of its age. 3 of best things i purchsed....mani, filter and rear ARB.
  11. Ill ask my old man on the weekend if its any help..... think thats the answer he would give ^. i guess the next best thing is is get on to jaystar or someone alike who has thes sales brochure?
  12. lol im at uni atm bud, the weather is always shite when i get home for the weekend = fail just holla if you need anything else.....we were all noobs at one point and its places like this where we ALL learn what are you drilling?
  13. It should already have a fuse holder on it like so..... http://www.sherco-auto.com/images/FPC1P.jpg then all you do is route the wire below the airbox (remove the air box to see the rubber gromet) CAREFULLY cut a hole small enough and thread the wire through (you will see it come through when you get into the passenger footwell) Please remember to route the wire down the drivers side of the car not the passenger side eventhough the passenger side is easier......spark + fuel = no no and disconnect both terminals of the battery BEFORE you begin. speaking of with i must remember to change mine
  14. same goes....if you piss around with stuff like that your asking for trouble but if your using it for what it was intended for (a few minor sprays) around/in the intake should see it start up.
  15. Always best to take it off because the flamable "fumes" accumilate in the inlet mani so you get a mini replay of the the big bang when you start up....
  16. Fronts are ~£40....made by BRT using koyo seals and stuff
  17. What was the old fan? im assuming you had a normal civic rad n uprated to a alu one? compare the voltages n stuff....
  18. Yup cold cycle is high, 2k max then it should settle down to 750-800 when the temps at halfway does it do this? any other problems? if its always high you`ll need to clean the sensors on the throttle body BUT do this with the throttle body off
  19. You have to get him to stand something like 50cm from the back of the car (on each side) n look round at them, well something of the sort asked my old man LOADS of times he said if it didnt come with them it doesnt need them for ^ that reason can i ask, is there anything else he failed you on?
  20. Something like this get a clear one if possible, best of luck http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/TIGER-SEAL-ADHESIVE-...%3A1|240%3A1318
