Bloody hell they aint half fitted on properly

Its the same gasket....mine was stuck to the TB so i left it and put the mani on whereas rickstars was stuck to the mani when we tried to take it off it broke. We could have put a new gasket on but didnt have one so just used instant gasket sealer.

Off with the bottom hose and let it all out, put a water hose in the top of the rad to flush out any gunk.....i`d replace the thermostat while your there cost £10-15, may aswell get a genuine one and saves hastle later on. Also which antifreeze are you using? best one would be toyota red its premixed Good luck

Right i made some head way with the earthing kit didnt take many pics except from the drivers side mounting one....had trouble with the battery teminal being too big so i DIYed it to fit also need to get hold of a 2 awg crimp. Only got the drivers side mounting, passenger strut done and the slam panel...i have put the 2awg in place but this is for temporary measures. I made one to put one on the firewall under the map? sensor, connected to the intake mani and i got a little clicky sound on idle anyone know why? (i have removed it). Also found another little earth on the gear box so ill need to do that too pics Test fitting the right heat shrink size Comparison to the stock Sanded the paint away to ensure the best contact Finished.... So far i have noticed better throttle response and the windows dont seem to show much resistance compared to before.

Get the toyota one its pre mixed....just put in what you need.

Yup ^ put the jack on the driverside sill + stand and off you go.....does the mount not need to be modified? or am i thinking of the other one under the car near the exhaust?

I fitted it at a mates house he doesnt have a trolley jack and i wasnt going to risk me getting all the way under with the car supported by the tyre changing jack so it stayed on, its only held on by one bolt....

Yup there is i was lazy and didnt bore it out so its stuck on the fire wall behind one of the brackets for now.....ahhh you reminded me i need to take the bracket off of the bottom of the block (where the old mani was).

well.....i hope it kills the hissing noise off when the music is on, and the revs dont die when i try and put my windows up. I`ve read it gives better throttle response, MPG and in general better running of the whole car the N/A only has 3 solid points of earthing 2 on the battery and one on the driverside mounting.

Just a quick question....would it be ok if i wire up all the 8awg connections and leave the 2awg, for now? i cant seem to find a 2 awg ring terminal witout breaking the bank....i`ve spent £49 already

Just went to pick up my battery terminal and last piece of wiring for the earthing kit, waiting on the shrink wrap to be delivered and need to buy a 2 awg ring terminal.....other than that i have a microbiology lab class from 2-5 fun eh? which pads + disc combo did you order love?

so is the crack on the mani? or the head? if its mani then you may aswell get a new one....if its head a replacement will need to be found which is an excuse to fully forge for more power etc..
