Well i had a clio to 60 but after that it was anyones game and mines standard, you just need to get the power down and try setting off in low then switching to get traction or just make sure you dont give full throttle from the start so you can get the power down

hay to all. im the ripspeed guy for halfords and im majour in to sounds. i have juat a 12" in my boot with 1 d class amp and a powerfull head unit,also i have two5.25 in front two 6x9 and 13 in the shelf as well.. the more powerfull the head unit the less work your amp does so the further you can push it the big story above says unless your running 3 or more amps its a bit of a waste of time. do you wont neddy punchy bass or are you wanting sweet clear sound to rock out to with a heavy bass if you want? i can sort you out with a system if you tell me exactly what you want . also if you live near me i could see botu fixing the price a bit as i get discount.

you almost sound like you know what your talking about there, unless the person you are talking to knows what they are on about. First little flaw in your system, your running 6x9s on the shelf and a sub in the boot? You running the 6x9s on high pass crossover?

In answer to the origional question, two tens work very well as some on here may know me and my old boot build. I had 2 vibes running 300w rms each (by the way RMS is the real messure MAX means fluck all) and they rock, but like said higher up the jbl subs arent bad at all. But if you are running a sub please make sure you amp your subs
