  1. I think you only really learn to drive after passing your test. You can't have someone telling you what to do forever.

It sounds like a good idea especially if you consier the amount of twats who pass their test and drive around like cunts all the time.

Its talk at the moment so dont get worried its becoming law anytime soon, that process takes a long time.

  2. There's some right scum about. No good little theiving cunts who ranmble inside cars for pickings. A punter's car got his window smashed at work today and I've no end of wankers slam their door into my motor when I've parked it up.

  3. So the strips are just held on with glue?

Cool. Mine are coming off this weekend then.

Its like a thick Tar trpe glue.

When I de-badged my old one it took me ages to get the shit off. Warm water and a abrasive pad but I dont recomened using that for the bump strips, takes ages and can strip the paint off with too much scrubbing.

  4. um, yes you will mate. the studs/nuts alone weren't designed to take the weight of the car, thats the hub's job, if the cbore of the wheel is FAR larger than that of the hub, then its not doing anything, plus there are more risks of it not being perfectly centred to the hub, thus causing unwanted vibrations etc, which can again risk the studs/nuts.

if you're using mx5 wheels without spigots, then it can be rather dangerous, due to the cbore being alot larger than that of a starlet's. fancy shearing off a stud/nut mid corner? no, didnt think so ;)

certainly worth the 10 quid they cost any day of the week :p

Very true, the bolts are not soley there to keep the wheel on the hub.. Even if they fit on perfect I'd never put any rims on without the spigot rings first. It's surprising what little plastic or aluminium rings can do ;)

Take em down to your local alloy centre and I'm sure they will be able to find rings that fit the car and the tyre.

    Cheers Phil, B)

Not sure where to get the clears from, but yeah I agree. It'll tidy it up realy nicely. Gotta figure out how to do the grille first though' :p

I think there is a set on Ebay at the moment, Joz posted it in the E-bay finds forum.

  5. Its been seen driving locally as of a few days ago. It was spotted driving around on friday in a local town so what ever twat nicked it must live local.

I hope someone catches him driving it and gives him some justice for his crime.
