Legend. Wont need any additional flanges. Just the intake needs to be straight to clear my top mount cooler on the scoob. Will keep u posted.
-
Ah nice. Should have said earlier. Think I have a cash buyer now though.
If it falls through would you be willing to modify one of your TD05's then make the swap with me?

The dealer where I bought the ECU and had it mapped details have been added to the advert above

Haha. You have one where the comp housing comes off easily?
As I could have the 90 bend cut off and rewelded.
-
Bump. Bargin here guys. This cost me over £600.
-
-
Vf35 would also work
-
Ignore that. Just looked. I need one without the 90 on it. Sorry.
-
Can i fit the td05 with the 90 degree on a new age scoob? Or will i have to faf cutting and rewelding the comp housing?
-
Hey. Yes that could intrest me unless a VF turbo or td05 side entry comes up. Turbo will be going on a Scooby anyway. ;)

Item for Sale/Swap
Dastek Unichip Q Piggyback ECU
Item Condition & Description:Used but perfect condition.
Had it on my Glanza and was mapped for the following spec making 232bhp:
Stock internals, stock injectors, Externally gated TD04 at 1bar boost with mani and turbo back exhaust, 255FP, FPR, FMIC.
I labelled all the wires when I removed it to reference the stock wiring loom and ECU. All that’s needed to install this with the current map is the stock ECU wiring diagram. (Which is widely available and I have a copy of)
Here is where I bought the ECU and had it mapped:

Price:
£150 or SWAP for a good condition TD05 16g or VF34 Turbo
Pictures:Payment & Shipping Details:
PayPal payment or collection in person with cash.
Better to collect in person so I can explain the labelling. Otherwise will explain over the phone. (Its pretty simple TBH)
It’s not big or heavy so postage will be about £5 at buyers expense.

Ah. No worries.
Just renewed it.

Hi
I cant start a new topic in the parts for sale section.
I used to be able to.
Any reason why this may have changed?

TD05 16gs aren't even that laggy though.
With headwork done they will spool up fine on a 4E.
Might take longer to hit full boost depending on your chosen level but you will be pushing more power at the lower boost levels so wont matter.
Stick it to 1.6 - 1.8 bar and you'll love it.
-
As above.
I had a dastek on my starlet fitted and mapped by Redline.
I stuck around the workshop through the whole process making tea and chatting. Was a long day of waiting. Lol.
Made 232bhp on TD04 @ 1bar with stock injectors and internals.
If you want the dastek to control your boost setting too let them know in advance as they will need to get the solenoid in beforehand.
I no longer have my starlet. I still have the ECU tucked away in the garage though. ;)
Other Essex Starlet owners such as jaycglanza17 swear by ATSpeed for ECU's and rolling road services. They are also local.

As above... will you consider selling the turbo separately?

Swap for a prodrive blobeye impreza?

Hello fellow Starlet lovers.
Just wondering... Can the EP82 take a roof rack?
I know that the EP91's can.
If so, any recommendations on type/brand etc...?
Any pics?
Thanks.

Engine oil sucked through turbo.
in Intake, Turbo & Exhaust

Oil getting in the inlet would just be burned in the combustion process. So shouldn't do too much damage in that respect unless it was sucking in huge amounts.
I doubt it would be loads if was coming through a filter.
How do you know it was the turbo that screeched?
Sure it wasn't a belt? (Cam/alternator etc...) Did you clean under the cambelt cover?
Oil may have caked a sensor somewhere in the inlet or you may have disturbed a sensor in the bay when cleaning. This could cause power loss.
