  1. depends if it's running well, they split intercoolers and leak turbo gaskets for fun. with that sorted, and the car decatted with a reasonable exhaust, it would win, by far, especially over about 80. not sure on the autos, but s14's (manuals anyway) are geared very long, they come on song above about 100, and dont really ever feel like they want to stop pulling, whereas a glanza will struggle above a ton, if it doesn't rattle itself to death.

either way, street racing is bad m'kay. you both cant go over 70 anyway so what does it matter ;] aint like you're gonna have a race on track. so boo hoo.

  2. if it's been left that long that crap oil has starved the turbo, then it doesnt really sound like the engine's been looked after particularly well.

might be worth checking everything over, and changing as much as you can, refresh all the fluids etc.

  3. if it took more then i imagine that was luck more than anything mate. unless it's a paddle or has an uprated pressure plate, it'll be pretty much stock. so yeah, if you put 200bhp then chances are it'll slip, but im sure you know that anyway.

if it doesnt then it'll be down to luck. fingers crossed for you mate.

if it does go then you can get cheap paddles these days so aint the end of the world, just additional moneys.

  4. rofl at people just saying the turbo is gone ^^;

most likely a clip or something mate, actuator etc. mine was like that when i first got it, didnt boost at all. was the circlip on the actuator.

if the turbo was 'gone' you would have some noise, smoke etc from it. it wouldnt just stop, thats almost impossible based on the design.

  5. Evening boys,

Just a thought, anyone have any idea where my old Glanza is these days? curious to see where it's got to.

Last i knew it was floating around the essex area. reg is n960 pae, it was metallic black, full optional bumper extensions, mid wing etc. I think it had bronze rota grids on it last time i saw, and a carbon bonnet.

be nice to know where it's got to, if for curiosity more than anything.

    cheers chaps

    H.

  6. hahaha :) i'll take some deliveries before, so i'll put up a poll before the event and decide what the most preferred flavours will be.

not sure what car i'll have by then, even if it's just in my bora i'll set up a rig in the back and we'll have a pro little cider shop going on. can cruise about the site flogging cider by the pint. mwahaha :)

the flavours are awesome. oh by the way, they're all 7.5%+ also, thatchers katy type strength, but even more delicious. you boys aint ready.

by the way, to the bird saying she dont drink, you aint ready for strawberry cider. i promise you'll love it. you may end up pooping yourself if you aint drunk before, but still, alcohol is the way forward. in fact, i may just spend the next few months drunk in preparation.

by the way i'm moving to london/essex in a few weeks boys so will be around alot more. wont be so easy to get the cider but i imagine i'll be making regular trips back to bristol so can pick stuff up for those who want it.
