ah yes the rogue downpipe lol which is just a rebranded chinese item, they got found out and then stopped being sold. if it ever does fail we do a full flexable version all garantee'd. ah buddyclub, have alook under the car around the flexy section and where it joins the cat/downpipe flange, the last one i had in measured just over 2" diameter, which is actually smaller than standard and that was killing the torque. Yes its straight through but to reduce the sound they made a small diameter part. straight through but very restrictive. A quick test is take the car out with the boost controlle

well 303bhp is very good for your mods, a little to good to be honest so either the dyno is out or you'll find your base timing is advanced a tiny bit or there is a sandwich board inside the ecu. saying that your torque is down a little as well, normally on the stock setup you'll find the torque will match the bhp so going from the norm you up about 20bhp on average but down 20ftlbs well the ct20b is reliable to 1.2bar, just don't go over that. I must have done hundreds of gen 3+'s with these mods and there everyday reliable and max the stock fueling out. Although like you say ceramic isn't t

sorry my mistake you were saying about swapping the hks version 3 for a greddy bov, sorry i thought you were talking about EBC's for second then lol any reasons why you don't like the hks? its a much better bov and prietty much leak proof Tim TB Developments

ok buddy well for everyday reliability the most i'd go on the stock internals is 320bhp which is around the limits of the stock fuel injectors anyway, which is doable on the standard ct20b. the gt2860rs will make that power with a little less boost around 1.1bar but make alot more torque in the midrange. The Td06 is really a very oldschool turbo now and not used that much on the mr2, unless your cheaping out, but again there a 380bhp turbo and very laggy for what they are, in comparison a gt3071r will make 100bhp more top end and spool 500rpm sooner. the rev 4 block isn't actually any stronge

the shop seriously needs updating to be honest, its locked me out since the server swap lol (don't ask) i used to have quite a few type s bov's instock but they weren't the best i tested, the HKS is still one of the best to be honest buddy. as for turbo kits i now do all external wastegate option kits, also full GT30 and GT35's upto about 700bhp. anything you need or advice just ask buddy, also you check the forum out? would love to get more glanza's on there seeing i've just bought one myself Tim TB Developments

we do this on the 3sgte engine in the mr2 and celica and the intake manifold drops a noticable difference in temperature. Not sure what it will do in realtime applications but i did notice about a 8-10 degree drop on my power fc readout for airtemp. but with the coolant going around the TB its going to raise it to 85-90 degree's which is going to effect air temps. Never had an issue with the 3sgte ones i've done so can't see the 4efte having issues either. Everylittle helps Tim TB Developments

Boost, Actuator And Blitz Dbsc Setup Questions
TBDevelopments replied to BlackRocket's topic in Intake, Turbo & Exhaust
there are 2 settings on the dsbc for boost control, these are set and gain. the set is how fast the turbo spools (in reality its how long it leaves the boost climbing until the ebc steps in to control it) if you have it set to low the turbo will seem slugish like when running standard actuator pressure, if its set to high it won't step in quick enough and you'll get spikes. The boost will also increase to a point if hte gain is increased with minimal set. the set is the level of boost you want to run. i find it best to put the gain around 3-5 which is quite low, and increase the boost using t -
ebc won't make a difference as you can only increase from the base actuator level or ontop of what ever it creeps to.

i think its the RM books from toyota hes after. i want a set myself. we have the BGB for the mr2 and celicas, basically workshop manuals that gives all the stripdown specs and more importantly torque settings for every bolt. they do exsist for every car as they were made for the toyota dealerships, its just finding them. Anyone have any ideas? if there so rare were do the specalist tuners get all there torque settings from? or is there another book that works for the glanzas like the uk model starlets for example? thanks

hey thanks buddy for the kind words Tim TB Developments

ok seen it, damn toyota dropped a nut on that design lol Tim TB Developments

thanks matey i'll take a look Tim TB Developments

i know what your saying but would be intersting to see how bad. going back to what i was saying with the mr2 manifold design that has the same but obviously the manifold is alot bigger, did some work on a glanza a few weeks ago and was shocked to see how small the turbo really was lol. but i'm still learning, plan to get one myself then branch into the tuning side of these cars as well. does anyone have any actual flow data for the flowing issues of the manifolds? i only wander as we had a similar thing in the mr2 world about restrictive runners on the stock manifolds until someone made over 638rwhp out of on. Just looking for facts to see how bad it really is thanks Tim TB Developments

yep there poo lol
